Like how books always started,
It was a bright and beautiful day. Everything went just fine, smooth, happy一let's cut the sizzle and went straightforward to what actually happened.
The h/c haired woman sprinted from stairs to stairs, not even giving herself a second to breath. Even though her head was painful, butterflies flew in her stomach, a hangover, she still made her way.
Only for it to be stopped by the guard, Otto. "I'm sorry, you can't come in," he said.
"Let me in."
Shivers were sent down his spine. He knew well how fierce could she get once she was stopped from her work. Otto shook his head. "Sorry, Acting Apprentice Y/n. But this is Acting Grandmaster's order."
Y/n cursed in her head—light curses, not the kind of ruthless curse she spoke. The threat Jean had spoken wasn't just an empty ones. Y/n sighed, she walked away from the door.
"Do you really want to get in so bad?"
A voice spoke right behind her, in result she jumped in surprsie. "Sir Kaeya," she muttered under her breath. Her gaze was still calm and composed, but she was questioning twice, as to why she must bumped into him twice.
Kaeya stood there with a smile. "Why don't you think of this as a break? You worked hard already and that's enough," Kaeya reassured.
"I'm sorry, I have quests to report." Not a total lie, afterall一there were reports she needed to give.
"Ah, you can report it to me and I'll make sure Jean knows."

Cider Lake.
The only lake she could visit at the day and the night, where the wind blew the dandelion to her face gently and softly. As the breeze brushed against her face, she would always sit by the lake.
She tucked her h/c behind that covered her sight and plucked the dandelion without anyone noticing. Even if the knights from the gate noticed, they wouldn't dare to say something to her.
Probably the reason was: the rumor that spreaded around.
She was cold, stubborn, introvert, and two-faced. All she cared was working, if that's how people saw her as. The lady who's cold-hearted.
The gentle finger tips twirled the stem of the blown dandelion as her head trickled to her work.
She sighed and pulled her knees together.
"I'm so sorry!"
"How are you going to pay for this mess?"
Well, if she couldn't work inside the headquarter, didn't mean she can work outside. Keeping the peace of this city outside or inside was still her duty.
She stood up, rotating her eyes until they landed on two people by the gate. The guards were on break as it's still time for lunch, Y/n ran to the scene.
"A-Apprentice, please help me," a woman mumbled under her breath. The cold stone e/c turned from the man and the crate full of wine glasses. "I need full detail," the h/c haired lady demanded.
"This girl bumped onto the crates recklessly! And she said she's chased by someone when there's no one, Apprentice!" Wow, he seemed to be furious.
Of course, who wouldn't be this furious as well?
She glanced at the woman beside her, fidgeting with her fingers. Her legs were like noodles, trembling in fear一which she didn't know why. "Is that true, Miss?"
"I-I'm seriously chased, Apprentice! There's someone following me, I swear!" Her voice trembled, even her eyes wavered.
Something stung behind her, as if a fierce stare daggered. "I believe in her. She's followed," Y/n solely confirmed. Her e/c orbs shifted to the broken crates and to the woman.
