The Next Red Dragon Emperor

The Dragon's Awakening

A young, 4 year old Izuku would wake up from his nightly slumber. However unlike other mornings he felt much more energetic than usual. He would simply play it off as he was ready to start the new day. The boy would then walk out of his room and then approached his mom, Inko. "Good morning mom!"

She would then turn over to little Izuku "Oh good morning Izuku!" After greeting him she would look over to her son enthusiastically before noticing his arm. Inko would end up simply staring at Izuku's arm which would start to confuse him.

"W-what's wrong mom?" Izuku would continue to look at his spaced out mother.

This would break Inko out of her trance and she decided to get back to the boy. "Well, I think after you're done eating you should go look in the mirror"

This would confuse him but would also make him excited to go look in the mirror. He would then swiftly finish eating before heading to the bathroom. "WOAH!" He would then move his arm around before the gauntlet would talk.

"Hello boy what is your name?" The sentence would startle him a bit before he would respond.

"My name is Izuku! Are you my quirk?" He would respond while his eyes would be practically beaming.

"Yes my name is Welsh Dragon Ddraig or simply Ddraig for short."

All while this was going on in the bathroom Inko would have already called the doctor's office to schedule an appointment for later today which would be luckily available. Inko would then go to meet Izuku in the bathroom before he spent the rest of the day muttering to himself.

The Doctor's office

"Well first off congrats! It appears you are the next host of a quirk called the boosted gear." Which the doctor would say somewhat enthusiastically.

"Boosted gear?" Inko would have do a double take "So what is it?"

"Well the boosted gear is basically a quirk that is possessed by the dragon named Ddraig. This quirk is known as one of the rarest quirks out there as instead of being completely exclusive to one user it can instead be passed down to new future users and in this case Izuku is simply its next wielder. It works by boosting the power of its user which enhances their physical capabilities. It also draws power from emotions meaning the more emotions he is feeling the more powerful he will become." This would make Inko slightly worried but also happy for her son. Izuku on the other hand would be beaming. He could finally achieve his dream of becoming a hero just like All Might.

"However I must add that its quite unusual that it awakened in such a way since most users gain it after going through a traumatic experience like a life or death situation of sorts. Though that is simply pure speculation."

Although the news may have surprised Inko a bit she wouldn't think about it much. Eventually the pair would head home. Izuku would simply be thinking of all the possibilities and the future hero he could become. Inko however start to think of what could now happen to her son with this power of his. While she knew he could become a hero just like he wanted to be, she also knew that this was just the beginning.

10 years later, Izuku's middle school

"Since you're all third years, it's time for you to think seriously about your futures. I'll pass out handouts for your future plans now but..."

Izuku's eyes would be directly up front since he already knew what was about to come next out of his teachers mouth.

"You're all.."

Along with some other students Izuku would wait in anticipation for his teacher's next line.

"... Pretty much planning to go into the hero course, right?"
