MIDORIYA GRUNTED AS HE TURNED IN HIS BED, laying on his back. The birds outside his window chirped loudly, the dim sunshine peeking through his curtains. Him and the rest of the class stayed up late last night watching movies and hanging out, so he was extra tired this cold morning.
"Man...I shouldn't have chugged egg nog with Kirishima..." He tiredly opened his eyes, quickly becoming stiff, as a figure hovered above him.
A tanned girl with dark hazel eyes was floating directly over him, her short black hair falling forward as she stared at him intensely.
She gave a small smile, whispering, "Hi. What's your name?"
Midoriya did nothing but stare at the pretty girl who was levitating above his bed, pure confusion running through his mind.
...Am I...still dreaming?
He closed his eyes tightly, rubbing them as hard as he could with his fist. Once opening them back up, the girl had disappeared.
He heard a faint voice saying, "He ignored me too", but wasn't sure if it was his imagination.
Midoriya let out a sigh of relief, relaxing into his mattress once again. "Too much egg nog, Deku...Too much egg nog."
