Xingchen ran to the young girl that was holding Wei Ying's hand. He picked her up and spun her around, "My darling! I missed you so much!"
The young girl giggled, "Mama!" She hugged her father tightly.
"Did you really forget about me?" Xue Yang asked playfully.
"Baba!" A-Qing jumped down from Xingchen's arms and ran to Xue Yang. She hugged the man's waist tightly and Xue Yang chuckled.
"I missed you," Xue Yang said softly, squatting down to the girl's height. He pet her head gently and then pulled her in for a tight embrace.
"I missed you too," she mumbled. She hugged her father with small arms and began playing the man's hair with her tiny hands. Xue Yang let her do what she wants and smiled at Xingchen who was softly crying while laughing.
He walked over to the two and hugged them both gently, "It's good to be together again."
"Yeah," Xue Yang murmured, he suddenly covered his mouth and ran to the trees. Xingchen stood up concerned and walked over.
"Darling, are you alright?" He saw Xue Yang retching. He held the man's long hair back and watched him throw up, "What happened to you?"
Xue Yang stood up and weakly said, "I'm probably a bit sick. Don't worry about it too much, it'll go away soon."
"Alright, but if it gets worse tell me," Xingchen said. Xue Yang nodded and took a string from his chest pocket, he put it in his mouth and grabbed his hair. He combed through the hair and wrapped it with the string.
Xingchen watched with rosy cheeks in awe. He turned away shyly and Xue Yang chuckled, "Am I that good looking?"
"Sh-shut up!" Xingchen exclaimed.
"Mama, you look pink," a-Qing said innocently.
"Is he?" Xue Yang asked, getting closer to the blushing man.
"I'm not!" Xingchen looked down and Xue Yang lifted his chin.
"You are bambi," Xue Yang laughed, "you're even looking red."
Xingchen's eyes lowered, "I'm not," he mumbled.
"You look cute," Xue Yang whispered and softly kissed his husband. Xingchen smiled and kissed back before pulling back when he remembered his nephew and daughter were there.
Xingchen pulled back and hid his face in Xue Yang's shoulder. Xue Yang chuckled, "You really shouldn't be kissing me after I threw up."
"I don't mind," Xingchen whispered, "just go eat some candy."
Xue Yang laughed, causing Xingchen to smiled softly at the sound. He liked Xue Yang's laugh, it was always cheerful and he felt safe when he heard it, because he knew nobody was there to harm him.
"Baba! Mama! Look what Uncle Wei made me!" A-Qing exclaimed, lifting up a small flute.
"Did he really?" Xingchen asked, turning to his nephew.
Wei Ying smiled and rubbed his nape sheepishly, "You were gone for so long that I got bored and made a flute. I decided why not give it her?"
"Thank you," Xingchen sincerely said.
"No worries," Wei Ying turned around. "Come on, everyone's waiting for you."
"Alright," Xingchen took ahold of a-Qing's hand and walked behind the male. Xue Yang walked next to them and put his arm around Xingchen's shoulders.
"How are you holding up?" Xingchen whispered.
"Better now that a-Qing is here," Xue Yang said softly, a fond smile on his face.
"I meant about Luan," Xingchen said seriously, "he was your teacher for a long time and you must miss him."
"I don't want to talk about it," Xue Yang replied, turning his head to the side.
"Fine, but you better talk to me about it soon," Xingchen said. He looked down at a-Qing who was skipping at his side.
They all arrived at a room where Wei Ying opened the door revealing the rest. "Xue Yang!"
  "Xingchen!" They all exclaimed.
Everyone stood up and ran up to the couple, smiling widely. Shizui, Jingyi, and Zizhen all hugged them while Jin Ling stayed back shyly.
Xue Yang saw him and smiled, "Come on kid, I know you want it." He grabbed Jin Ling's arm and pulled him into the group hug.
Jin Ling resisted at first before melting into the hug.
Xingchen smiled sweetly at them all, "Did you miss us that much?" He teased.
"Of course!" Jingyi exclaimed, "Why wouldn't we?!"
"Alright, let them breathe," Jiang Cheng scolded. The juniors all reluctantly let go and Jiang Cheng smiled softly at the couple, "Glad you're back."
  "Same here," Xue Yang said.
Wei Ying walked up to the group and interrupted, "I think this calls for a celebration, don't you think?"
  "Yeah!" The juniors yelled.
"I have Emperor Smile!" Jingyi said, running to a wall. He moved the book shelf there and revealed a big box full of Emperor Smile.
Everyone cheered again and ran to him except the adults and Shizui.
Wei Ying shook his head, "Those kids."
"We'll stay for a while before going to our room," Xingchen said, "I'm pretty tired."
"Of course!" Xichen said, "Rest all you want."
Xingchen bowed and said his thanks before going with the juniors to drink a little.
After celebrating for around an hour, Xue Yang and Xingchen left along with their daughter.
They went to their room and put a-Qing to sleep.
Xingchen then brought Xue Yang outside to get some fresh air. They sat down on the soft grass in silence, "What are you thinking about love?"
Xue Yang looked down at his lap, "Nothing much, you shouldn't worry too much about me."
"Of course I should!" Xingchen said, beginning to get upset, "You're my husband, why shouldn't I?" He sighed and continued, "I know loosing Luan must've hurt you, I wouldn't know how it feels but I can have a good idea. No matter how bad it is, I need you to tell me how how you feel. Saying out loud what you feel helps a lot you know?"
Xue Yang nodded, "Fine..." he began remembering the past events and felt his eyes get wet. "I just-I want him back. He was my teacher of course, but he was also my best friend. He knew he would die if he did what he did, yet he still took the chance.
"I should've stopped him or at least warned him. If he had listened to Helia then maybe this wouldn't have happened."
Xue Yang was crying softly now, in Xingchen's embrace, and whimpering.
Xingchen simply listened to him and stayed silent. He hugged his husband tighter and kissed the top of his head gently, "It's going to be alright. I promise."
