31 - [ A Mother's Undying Love ]

I smiled and wiped the tear that escaped, I saw Lance looking at me with worried eyes and I just smiled at him.

"Congratulations, sis!" Chloe said as soon as I approached her

"Thank you" I said and hugged her tightly

"Picture tayo!" She said and I nodded and we took a picture

"Uy, sali ako!" A voice of a man said behind me

"Wag ka nga epal ka! Shoo" Sabi ni Chloe, it was Robert na naka graduate din

"Chloe" I said and looked at her

"Ugh sige na nga" Sabi ni Chloe at umirap pa, We took a picture for a while then Lance came

"Picture kayong mag jowa" She said and pushed me to Lance

Muntik pa kong matalisod nung tinulak ako ni Chloe papunta kay Lance, buti nalang at nasalo ako ni Lance

"Careful" He said and I nodded then smiled sheepishly

I fixed my self and positioned myself beside Lance so we can take a picture.

"Ayan ayan dali go na pose tas smile kayo" Sabi ni Chloe

We looked at each other and smiled

"Let's go eat?" Aya ni Lance

"Oo tara kain tayo, kanina pa din ako gutom" Chloe said

"Libre ko na" Sabi naman ni Robert

"Ahh bago atang linya ni Roberto yan ah" Chloe said habang papalapit kay Robert

"Tara na dun tayo sa pinaka mahal dahil libre pala ni Roberto" Chloe said then pulled Robert

"Send nalang ng address" I said to her, we waved at each other and went inside our respective cars and left the university.

"Mukha ngang mahal dito, Chloe" I whispered to her nang maka upo kami sa lamesa namin

"Hayaan mo na, may utang naman yan sakin" She whispered back

"Ikaw na Roberto mag order" Sabi ni Chloe at ibinigay ang menu kay Robert

Tumawag naman si Robert ng waiter at sinabi na ang mga orders

"Nga pala ang ganda ng speech mo kanina, sis" Sabi ni Chloe habang kumakain kami

"Thank you" I said and smiled at her

"How much for the artwork?" Lance asked

"It's not actually for sale, balak kong idisplay yun sa bahay" I said and continued eating, tumango naman siya at nag patuloy nalang sa pag kain

My artwork was awarded as the most outstanding artwork of the year, madaming nag tanong kung may balak ba akong ibenta ang artwork ko na yun pero I don't really have a thought of it.

Yun nalang ang alala ko and looking back to that painting, naiisip ko na I have overcome that sadness and devastation part of my life.

"Huy, bukas ha maaga tayo aalis" Sabi ni Chloe habang papunta kami sa kanya kanyang kotse

"Eh teka san ka matutulog?" I asked her and tinuro niya si Robert

"Sa apartment niya, mag isa nanaman kase siya" Sabi ni Chloe at napangiti nalang ako

"Ayan ha, kayo na ba talaga? Ha? Tapatin mo nga ako" I said to her

"Uhmm mare ang hirap ipaliwanag kasi ngayon, basta explain ko sayo next time. Sige na babye ingat kayo mwa" She said at tumakbo papalapit kay Robert

"Parehas lang tayo ng tutuluyan, nag babye pa nga" Sabi ko sakanya at kumaway nalang

Pumasok na ko sa kotse ni Lance and we headed home.

"Do you have your clothes with you?" I asked him habang nasa byahe

"Yup, it's at the back" He answered at tumango naman ako

"Sa bahay ka na matulog" I said at tumingin sakanya at ganon din siya

"Sa apartment ni Robert matutulog si Chloe so wala akong kasama soooo" I said and smiled sheepishly

"Alright, love" He answered with a smirk, I just rolled my eyes and waited for us to arrive the house.
