Yes. There is premium. And yes Wattpad is adding premium +

Which is dumb.

Dispite this only now popping up for me on the home page, comments show it has been up since May of 2020.

It is in a chapter in one of their books.

Clearly wattpad is getting comments from the readers and the users that it is dumb. I scrolled for a very long while and did not find a single comment that congratulated, accepted, or seemed happy with Premium + at all.

These comments basically sum up what I would say about premium + :

Some comments are worded more aggressively than I would've written (Since higher up people are less likely to listen if you would like you are blaming or yelling at them).

There's more than one paragraph people commented on of course.

You can read what wattpad had in their chapter on the highlighted portion at the top. "We've spent the last few months listening to you, our community" yeah bull shit.
I was never sent a Survey, or if I was it got lost among emails of every single individual vote or comment wattpad emails me, so it basically goes in Junk because it's spam.
Surveys and interviews as far as I know are of people who:

1 reached out and want to work with wattpad. These people are likely to be sucking up to wattpad a bit since they might want a job or promo or shit.

2 People who have paid/used coins.
I have been pmed before about new books in stores simply based on the one book I used 3 coins I earned from ads on, so maybe other users who use coins get pmed these surveys. It is unfair and leaving out people who don't use coins.

3 Have popular books.
So they likely want wattpad to stay the same or get more ways to earn money since these users want to eventually earn money from wattpad too. No I don't mean books with 10k views, I mean the ones with 500k or more views that wattpad actually pays attention to.

4 people who follow wattpad.
Wattpad may make announcements with the survey links in them, so anyone who logically unfollows wattpad after they join wont get these, which is again unfair. If you check the wattpad announcements the survey may be covered by other users commenting there. So it's hard if you aren't following wattpad. I'm not sure if they do actually have surveys this way or not, since I'm not following them to know.

5 Workers.
Wattpad likely asks their writers and workers what they would like on the app, because it's just easiest and they do technically count as users. They may be asking their paidstories writers too, since they earn money from these people and want to keep them entertained enough to write on wattpad.

Wattpad says they used various feedback mechanisms but I nor any other user I am aware of has taken a wattpad survey. Other than a survey about the quality of a worker's response to a email on a issue. Has anyone been given a survey or taken a interview for wattpad? I'd honestly like to know. Since I don't think they're listening to certain accounts like mine or others that don't spend coins or don't make/read popular books.

I will tag the users who I screen shot comments from and ask if they would like me to censor the username or pfp since it is partly their content. If I have tagged you, is it alright if I leave your profile picture and username the way it is in the images? If not I can block over it.
