"Can you tell me the first day you met him"The therapist said as I sat across from her. I sighed thinking about the time I did meet him. The day the sun the people around.

"It was a regular day. It was around 3 so it was close to the golden hour. I was in charge since my brother ran to the bank. It was me and Kailee honestly and I told her handle things inside and I would handle it outside. I really just wanted some sunlight...

I smiled as I took in the sunlight enjoying the warmth on my skin as if I had never felt it before. I took my hair down since they weren't any customers and I was outside.  No need to feel stuffy still. I honestly hated having it pulled back or in a puff or anything curly or straight I wanted it down and free but Knox was trying to get a new crowd from the office that opened up down the street to come in and my red hair was already pushing it as he said.

I leaned back letting the warm sun hit my body and enjoying it before feeling eyes on me and looked over to see it belonged to a man. His eyes were a dark blue color which contrasted with his lightly tanned skin. He had jet black hair as well that was styled messily. Full pink lips and a sharp jaw line and it threw up the indicators. Trouble. Sexy trouble but trouble.

It took one moment of eye contact before he smiled.

"You seem to be enjoying the sunlight. Makes me feel like I'm not appreciating it enough"He said and I smiled back.

"What's stopping you from doing that now"I asked.

"Something else caught my eyes"He said

"Interesting"I said.

"I wish I could have even an sliver of the peace you have in this moment"I turned seeing a man wearing a white button down and black slacks. His hair black and parted like Leonardo DiCaprio's in Titanic. His eyes were a nice shade of blue like the ocean at night  and his lips full. He jaw reminded me of a young Johnny Depp. Here I was comparing this man to not one but two of my childhood crushes. He had a snake tattoo on his forearm and a couple other ones that weren't directly connected just there. I looked down at his shoes noticing how expensive they looked but they weren't red bottoms

"What's stopping you from having peace right now"I asked and he smiled before looking down. I turned my head closing my eyes as I absorbed the sunlight.

"You don't have to tell me about your relationship or anything but what ever isn't helping you find even a couple minutes to have peace isn't worth it. Not even if it gets you a pair of nice Italian shoes"I said

He looked down at his shoe before up at me.

"Some times you don't have an opinion or an option to stop something not something that's been in motion since before you were even thought of"He said and I was quiet for a second thinking about the answer he had just given me. I did know what it was like to have something in motion before I was thought of.

"The world was created billions of years before us yet people think they can fix the problems on it. Humans were around before our ancestors even knew what sex was and look how much things have changed so something being set in motion before you can be changed or undone."I said opening one eye to see he was looking at me. He stared at me and I'm sure he was wondering if he should dig deeper into what I said or let it pass.

"Nice hair"He said letting me know he decided to let it pass. I looked him up and down again before closing my eyes

"Nice tattoo" I said

"I could say the same for you"He said and I smiled. I knew the tattoo he was referencing was the thing I hated the most about my thigh and wearing shorts but today was hot and I was called in while chilling at home. It was the dragon that circled my thigh. A reminder of my past.
