I woke up from my deep slumber and checked the time, it was currently 6 am and knowing I had tons of paper work I quickly got up and headed for the shower. After brushing my teeth, I jumped into the cold water, letting my muscles relax as the water touched my skin. I got out of the shower and grabbed my towel and headed for the closet. I quickly checked the time and realized it was 6:45, 'I can't be late', I said in my head. I know what your thinking why the rush well its because I have a meeting with my dad and he hates tardiness. I quickly dried my hair and threw on an outfit.

I grabbed the keys to my Range Rover Sport. Once I arrived, I saw people look at me with fear in their eyes why you ask well its because I have a resting bitch face. My phone ringed and I groaned looking at the caller ID.
"My bitch" I said smiling. "Motherfucker how are you" he said from the other side of the phone. "I'm just tired and in a rush" I quickly walked into my private elevator and pressed the top floor. "Is everything ok" I could hear the concern in his voice. Me and Nick ,my best friend, had been through thick and thin. I remember when my boyfriend cheated on me with one of my employees, I was furious and told the whole thing to Nick. The next day I got a phone call from my ex saying he had a broken nose and a broken wrist and I knew who had done that. "Val are you still there" I didn't even realize I had zoned out. " Uh Nick I have to go I will call you tonight bye love you" "Ok bye love you too" the elevator dinged as I ended the call.
I greeted my PA aka my high school friend with a small good morning. Sasha was a very good employee, she would always be punctual and never cause trouble unlike Nick. The 3 of us had been friends ever since highschool, "Your father is already waiting for you in your office" she said breaking me out of my daydreaming state, I gave her a small thank you and headed for my office. I saw a sign with gold lettering written VALENTINA GARCIA. As I entered, I saw my father sitting on the couch reading a newspaper.
"Dad" I called him as I walked over to my desk and put my things down. "Did you go to Russia or something" I saw him roll his eyes. "Sorry the time machine was broken" I said as I walked and sat down on the couch opposite his. "So why did you call me so early in the morning to meet you here" I said as I drank my cup of coffee. "Valentina I need you to do a project with Antonio Adriano" I stare at him as if he had grown two horns on his head "Why" I said with a serious tone. "If you both join forces both your companies will hit skyrocket in the tech industry and you know how hard it is to reach the top" he says with a serious tone. "I will see " was all I could say. "Time is ticking" he said as he left the office.
