I groaned as I slouched into the couch, my mind drifted off to Antonio. I saw him at a business event but I didn't bother talking to him because he was surrounded by many influential business men and women whom seemed to be in a deep conversation. But I got to admit he look really good that night, but before my mind could wander any further I got up and started working.
As I was going through some documents my father's words rang in my head, I closed my eyes and put my head in my hands 'why Antonio though' I asked myself as I continued looking through my documents. Val don't think about him, don't think about him, concentrate on your work and finish so that you can go home and watch Netflix, I told myself.
When the clock finally hit 7pm, I got up and stretched my back. My eyes where red from staring at the computer the whole day. When I reached the ground floor I called Nick and asked him to come over if he was free unfortunately he wasn't. As soon as I arrived home, I kicked my shoes off and threw myself on the couch. I had not eaten the whole day so I decided to call a Korean restaurant and order dumplings and fried rice, I didn't have the energy to cook. I got up and quickly took a shower and changed into my pajamas.

I heard the door bell ring, it echoed the whole mansion. Running down the stairs, I opened the door and my nostrils where blessed with the smell of food. I had people to help in the house but I gave them the day off so that they could rest. Once I paid the delivery man I closed the door, opened my food and started eating whilst walking upstairs. My phone flashed and I saw an incoming call.
"Nick wassup" Nick was the only friend I trusted. I did not have that many friends, most of them just acted like one so that they could ruin my business. "Eh nothing just wanted to say Hi" I rolled my eyes at his words. "Are you sure" I said deepening my voice "Y-yes um...yah that's all I wanted to say" since when did Nick stutter, well that's suspicious*inserts Cardi B's voice*. We talked for about an hour or so until I told Nick that I had to go to sleep and wake up early for work. We said our goodnights and hung up.
The next morning came faster than it should have, I woke up feeling energetic I really don't know why but I had a feeling that today was going to be a good day. I took my phone and played my KPOP playlist on shuffle, the song which was currently playing was You Never Know by Blackpink. Damn the lyrics hit harderthan atrain. My aunt and uncle hated that I listened to Kpop almost the whole day. 'Why is a 25 year-old woman listening to kpop' were their words every single time I visited them. I got used to those words though.
After getting ready, I left the house whilst whistling and smiling as I saw my beautiful black Range Rover come in sight. I don't eat that much in the morning even though Larry ,the headchef, suggested I eat more because I started to become skinny. (The outfit)

As I was parking my car, I saw a black Lamborghini in my spot. I scoffed and wondered who in the world would park in MY parking slot, ok maybe I'm just overreacting and getting too worked up about this but it has my name written on it in GOLD. I sighed and saw an empty parking slot next to it and parked there. As I got out, I put on my Jentle Home glasses and walked inside.
I saw Sasha waiting for me at the receptionist's desk. "Good morning ma'am" I stopped, took off my glasses and looked at her "Sasha I told you to call me by name not ma'am or boss, ok" I said looking directly into her eyes. "Y-yes V-valentina" she answered stuttering "Good so what's on my schedule for today" I said as I put back my shades and continued walking to the elevator. After she was done telling me my schedule for the day, the next thing she said caught my attention. "Valentina, Mr Antonio Adriano is in your office"
