"I'm sorry, this tutorial is mandatory. No skipping ahead, shutting down, or requesting false pee breaks will be tolerated."

"Do we get a lunch break?" Five asked.

"There is a vending machine on the main level. Caution on selecting the egg salad, however, we have lost 12.5 trainees that way." At that, BITT hovered his way out of the Training Simulation.

"Did you say "point five'? How do you lose half of a--"

"Goodbye."

Aina took a deep breath and clutched herself tighter. "Did he just say 12.5? If they lost half of a trainee, then who knows what'll happen to us! Miko we may die here!" Thanks to Aina's overreaction, Miko rushed up to the door as it closed on them and started punching it, desperate to leave the simulation before it started.

"I see you're trying to punch something. We will cover this in step 12: Punching!" The sampler simulation giggled.

"This is my nightmare." Miko's eyes screamed for help.

"Y'all, this is hardly what you should be doing." Jodi chided with a frown. "The sooner we continue, the sooner we're Glitch Techs."

"Oh, I know that." Aina said dryly, crossing her arms. "But it would be easier to just summarize the entire thing before making 8 hours of it?!"

"Look, I know its cheesy," Five reasoned, rubbing his neck. "but, come on, we're two of the rare few who get to learn about game glitches and where they came from."

"Where do glitches come from?" Helpie inquired. "Allow me to drop some knowledge on ya, playas."

"Disgusting." Aina groaned as Miko trudged to her side with a mopey expression.

"The Hinobi central processer is a highly advanced but extremely delicate piece of equipment, so a glitch may occur as a result of corrupt software, overheating, underheating, sudden loud noises, sudden soft noises, poor ventilation, good ventilation, spillage..."

(Glitch Techs Intro)

Back at the Hinobi Store, Phil was checking out a console for a young boy with brown curly hair, a blue & white hat, and a red jacket. He scanned the box as the teenage boy continued to play his game.

"Thanks for choosing Hinobi, where we're always here to help you. Next!"

The boy hurried off with box just in time for BITT to hover beside Phil.

"Sir, there is still the matter of the unread messages in your-"

Phil noticed the sound of footsteps of another customer walking up to him. "BITT, I'm dealing with a customer."

"Hey, Phil." A strange female voice greeted.

Phil looked at her in shock. The woman was short and dumpy with a green bandana on her brown hair. She wore grey, office-like clothing, carried a thick, red book in her left arm and black glasses.

"Bookworm Barbara?"

"Long time, huh?"

Phil got out from behind the cash register desk and leaned against the side. "I haven't seen you since you were a rookie Glitch Tech. You know, you had your nose buried in all of those safety manuals."

While he spoke, BITT hopped in the air nervously and decided to get infront of Barbara's face. "Sir, these messages are time sensitive!" He warned in his robotic voice.

Phil immediately dismissed him by pushing him away with his right hand. "Yeah, you remember BITT, yeah?" He said with a chuckle. "Hinobi corporate told me to trade him years ago-"
