Tutorial Mode

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever it is can wait, BITT," Phil dismissed." just...take the new trainees and set 'em up in the training sim for me, okay?"

"But-"

"The rest of you, stop lurking in the lobby down there! Yeah you! Get out on your morning patrols!" The middle aged man ordered.

Everybody took their attention of what they were doing and looked up at Phil.

"Phil, it's a slow day out there!" Mitch replied, shutting off his holo vid.

Leaning over the rails, the ginger belted at the techs. "well let's keep it that way!"

With that, the techs all scattered off, except for Mitch who created a portal with his guantlet and struck a dramatic pose. Believe or not, the portal said "boosh".

One of Techs, a young teen that has curly, red hair, a slim body, and a gap between his front teeth, walked by. Cecil Bergoch, or "Bergy" for short.

"When do we get one of these Glitch Tech guantlets?" Five asked, snatching Bergy's guantlet.

Phil snatched it out of his hands. "When you complete the tutorial."

Miko reached up and grabbed the guantlet. "Ugh, ok fine! It if gets us one of these babies, let's just burn through it. How long can it be?"

Bergy walked over to the Japanese girl and tried, but failed to retrieve his guantlet. Though, he did have some hope when Aina got the guantlet.

"Please, say we can burn through it. I don't think I can get through one today." She basically begged, unknowingly keeping away the guantlet from Bergy.

The red head almost got his guantlet back, until Jodi got hold of the guantlet and dashed all of his hopes away. He sighed and went to go get another one.

"The tutorial should be easy y'all. So how long was it again?" Jodi soothed.

"Well, the first three hours are the worst, but the last five really fly by." Phil answered with a small smile, and a tiny glint of hope for four trainees.

Evidently, Jodi's eye twitched with uncertainty, Miko retrieved the guantlet and face palmed with it and Aina slid down on the floor and fidgeted again.

The training sim the trainees were placed in lit up with multiple lights. All in one humongous circle. The helper of the Simulator was activated with the room with a peppy grin on his face.

His robotic voice chirped with chuckle."Welcome Glitch Tech Noobs! Or noobs" as we like to call you."

"Oh, no." Miko deadpanned, her pupils shrunken and a glower under her eyes.

"I'm Helpie, your helpful host!" Miko groaned and turned her head to the side to avoid the Simulator. Unfortunately, Helpie divided and got in front of her face. "In this tutorial, you'll learn the 'leet skills needed to own glitches as a first-level Glitch Tech technician!" While Helpie summarized the tutorial, Miko desperately tried to get away from it.

"I can't shake him!" She cried, phasing her hands right through him. She flopped onto BITT with tears in her eyes.

"Don't leave us like this BITT!" She cried again, sliding down the robot as Aina ran towards them, cold sweat drenching her face.

She right BITT." She breathed. "My ADHD was kicking in badly this morning and I just can't shake it! I need to get out of here!"

Both girls were on the floor, holding themselves close, panicking internally. Hector and Jodi peered over their friends as BITT rejected their requests.
