Special Chapter-Ryuji's Birthday🎃

It's not as cool as the one he made me but it's the best I could do.

"I should probably go and ask him if he already has a costume" I say to myself

I also need to get Ryuji's present ready. I asked Arvin when his birthday was and he told me that it was on Halloween. I leave my room and head to Ryuji's.

Ryuji POV
I finish off a prosthetic leg and toss it in the pile with the rest of the limbs I've been idly making for some hospitals or whoever out of the goodness of my heart..

"Hey Ryu, can I come in?" I hear Toru's voice

Time to put on my happy face.

"Come in!" I respond

The door opens and I see Toru in the Halloween costume I helped her with.

"Hey Toru, what's up?" I ask

"Well...I wanted to know if you already had a Halloween costume" she nervously asks

"Today is Halloween? Shoot I totally forgot" I say

I feel bad about lying to her. But this is for the best.

"Well I have a costume that you could use. It matches mine...you don't have to use it, you could probably make something way cooler then what I got you" she quickly says

"Any other Halloween I would love to match with you. But I'm kinda busy right now, I have to finish all these prosthetic limbs I'm making" I say while pointing to the pile

"Why did you make so many?" She asks

"I kinda promised to make a whole bunch of these and give them away to hospitals for people who need them. They're gonna be free of charge of course" I say

"Oh...I see...well that sounds really important so I'll leave you to it" she sadly says while turning around and heading to the door.

"Come on Ryuji! Steel your nerves and don't give in!" I shout in my mind

I watch as Toru is about to leave.

"Maybe I can take a break!" I shout

Damn it...

"You don't have to. What you're doing is for a good cause so I understand" she says

She says that but I can tell that she's still sad.

"If I don't take a break then I'll end of making mistakes on the limbs. And it would be very bad if I made mistakes on stuff like this" I say

"Is it really ok?" She asks

"Oh yeah. I'm sure that the people who are gonna have these limbs wouldn't mind me taking a break" I say

I can tell that she's perked up a bit now.

"But you still don't have a costume" she says

"I'll just wear the one you got me" I say

"Y-You don't have too. You could probably make a much cooler one" she says

"If it's something from you then that already makes jr much better than anything I could ever make" I say

I can tell that she's pretty flustered.

"I-I tried my best to make it more like you...the original costume had face paint but I know that you aren't that much of a fan of face paint. So instead I added a masquerade mask" she says while holding out a bag

I take the bag and look at the costume.

"Pretty cool tie" I say

"It's from a cool Halloween movie I watched when I was little. Or was it a Christmas movie?" She ponders
