*A day before Tokyo training camp*
-Kuroo's bedrood-
Kuroo is just packing his things for tomorrow, then his mother knock on his door
"Tetsu can I come in?" Kuroo's mother ask him
"Go ahead Mom" Kuroo answered with such an earnest tone
"Tetsu, do you want me to help you with anything?" Kuroo's mother said, without taking an answer she folded his clothes and put them on Kuroo's sports bag and saw something.
"Tetsu, you still have this?" Kuroo's mother ask while her hand is holding the dino keychain.
"I guess, but I don't really remember where I got that from?" Kuroo answered
"Do you know anything about it, Mom?" Kuroo added
"Well I didn't really expect you to forget about this, but I guess you did" Kuroo's mother replied with a sad tone
"Come to think of it, you went to Miyagi a couple of months ago right?, that place is where you got this from" Kuroo's mother added in a astonished tone
"Mom, What do you mean by that" Kuroo confuse about what her mother is saying
"What I am trying to say is what a small world, you went there when you were 7, don't you remember? you went to visit your grandparents and then when you came back you were constantly telling us about this boy you met there and what you two did throughout the whole summer. When you heard you can never go back to Miyagi again, because we don't want you to have a trauma of your Grandparents death, you cried for the whole week, maybe, because of your Grandparents death?, Hey I am just guessing here, but when I look into your eyes that day it looked like you were a lost puppy waiting for it's owner to come back, then it hit me, all those tears were more for that boy" Kuroo's mother said smiling as she reminisce the childhood moments of his son Kuroo
"I don't mean you didn't mourn for your Grandparents, I am sure you also cried for them, but I am also sure you cried for that boy more" Kuroo's mother continued.
Kuroo felt something aching in his chest,
"Who was the kid?",
"Why did I cry when I heard I can never go back to Miyagi, is it because of him or my Grandparents?",
"Why did I constantly talk about him?"
Kuroo is asking himself this questions, shocked by what his mother revealed
"Mom!, what's his name?" Kuroo ask in a very interrogating way
"Wait Tetsu!, calm down honey, you two made a promise pack, and you always I mean always brag about your pinky promise to each other, you wrote it down on paper with you names on it" Kuroo's mom said as she try to calm down his son
Kuroo can't seem to comprehend what his mother is saying
"And because of that, I kept it all these years, just because of this hobby of mine of collecting the most sentimental things, did you know I still have the first movie tickets me and yo-" Kuroo's mother said until she stop herself, because his son look at her with such a confuse and adorable face
"Mom, where's the paper?" Kuroo said with such curiosity
"Wait here" Kuroo's mother said while a smile formed on her lips
Kuroo's mother has never been this delighted about Kuroo's curiosity, she rummage on her wardrobe and there she found it. Kuroo's mother never thought that this would happen and yet it did, she thank the child's name on the paper, that because of this piece of paper she saw a roller coaster of emotions in her son's eyes and between those emotions is love forming inside Kuroo's heart, she has seen a once in a lifetime kind of moment, she has seen her very own son to be so in love.
Kuroo's mother handed the paper to Kuroo, and caress his shoulder before leaving his room with such astonishment in her face.
"Mom, why are you making that face? Have you taken a dose of 5-hydroxytryptamine in your system again?" Kuroo asking his mom with a grumpy expression
"Son, why can't you be normal? And no I didn't take any single dose of seretonin" Kuroo's mom chuckled to her son's question, before finally leaving her son's room
Kuroo finally saw the paper and it rendered him speechless, it's written in a dark green colored crayons, while their names is written in a black and red crayons
"Wherever you may be
In any corner of the world
