"what's in it for me"

"what do you mean it's my suitcase there's nothing in there for you?"

"no i mean what's my reward if i carry it down the stairs for you"

"oh uh a high five?"

"hmm"

"a one second hug?"

"deal"

he got up and grabbed my suitcase as i sat down at my desk and started putting my makeup on.

he dropped the suitcase at the door and walked over to me. "who you trying to impress eh?"

"nobody, i just don't want to give anyone a fright with my ugly face"

"take that back right now"

"nope" i argued and continued to put concealer on my face.

"kate"

"harv"

"give me the weird looking lightsaber stick"

"you mean the concealer"

"yes... i think"

"no"

"katie you don't need it"

"yes i do"

"i'm not arguing with you over this" i laughed.

"you're gonna be on a plane for 11 hours, there's no point"

"but when i get to berkshire, your family will see my face, therefore makeup is needed"

"you're perfect without it"

"shut up you're being too nice"

"well am i supposed to be mean instead, cos i can be mean.."

"that sounded sexual.." i cringed.

"it can be?" he teased.

"get lost and never come back"

"i'm joking jeez" he laughed and picked up my suitcase again.

"shut up"

"but it can be like that.. if u want.. just sayin"

"HARVEY STOP IT"

"I'LL ONLY STOP IT IF YOU DON'T WEAR MAKEUP"

"fine ok, i'll just dry my hair then"

"oooo let me do it"

"i swear your just finding excuses so you don't have to carry that suitcase downstairs" i chuckled, as he dropped the suitcase at the door once again.

"let me dry your hair"

"why.."

"because it will be fun"

"fine but don't burn me" i said and handing him the hair dryer.

"yay"

once harvey had dried my hair, and he did surprisingly well, we went downstairs, to see all of our friends waiting for us with their suitcases.

"harvey will you be careful, you're gonna drop it" i laughed at the brown haired boy, who was struggling to carry my suitcase down the stairs.

"have you filled this bloody thing with rocks"

"yeah they're to hit you with later" i joked.

"where's my katie?" my dad excitedly said, as he walked through the front door.

"DAD OH MY GOD YOU'RE HOME" i ran down to the bottom of the stairs and hugged him tight.

i've missed my dad.
