"That's impossible, Tetsutetsu. We were just there less than six months ago, and it was thriving-"

"No, I think he's right."

Kendo held her chin in thought, also glancing over into the rolling hills as the carriage continued to move.

"It was recent, but I heard refugees have been flooding into Kits and Peon. There were ravens and rumors they were going to try and find safety in the Capital."

Everyone grew quiet, your eyes widening slightly as Monoma spoke.

"Well, I guess it shouldn't be surprising an Egabian and the Mirag wouldn't know that, but I'm shocked to hear even you didn't know, Midoriya Izuku."

The Knight continued to flip through his journal, stammering over his words as he thought out loud.

"I-I'm just shocked, Genthburn is a major producer of most of the countries food. If...If it's abandoned-"

"Then Okamoto will start to fall."

Urarakas eyebrows pinched as she glanced over at you, seeing your pain expression as the reality set in.

"So...they would have been a major target for the League...and it would have been pointless to go there."

"Well, more dangerous, than pointless."

Kirishima watched you sigh as you leaned against Bakugou, listening to the blonde prince question why you got so upset all of a sudden.

Midoriya chimed in, his eyes narrowing as Bakugous grip on you tightened once more.

Bakugou blinked and glanced down at you, shaking his head as he mumbled and shrunk back in place.

Uraraka chuckled nervously and waved her arms inbetween the two, trying to distract them as Kirishima coughed and whispered for you to continue.

"Um, well...like I said, I was heading to Genthburn, but I was led in the wrong direction, and that's when I met Katsuki."

"And what was the barbaric Prince of Mirag doing so far south?"

"He had been kidnapped by the League days prior."

Kendo sighed sympathetically as she chuckled, shaking her head.

"It sounds like you guys can't catch a break."

"Tell me about it."

You went on to tell the others how you had met Kirishima, how the three of you planned on traveling together until you reached Genthburn, only to meet up with Midoriya and the others halfway through.
