It was all blurred, nothing is clear. All I know is that, I am running. And I was, chasing someone. Despite of the darkness, I saw something real. I knew, by that time, it was you. And so I run faster.
Carrying the bag of hope while holding the pocket of faith, I have all the vehemence ready to share with you. And at the back of my mind is a prayer pleading for you to face this chasing girl.
Sweats are all over me together with extreme tiredness that almost lead to being numb, but I mind nothing as I am persistent to reach you up.
And then my eyes met yours. It was likely the gate to heaven and I felt the outburst of my heart. An overflowing emotions that can't be tamed. My lips was up for a smile.
It was a pleasure to meet you.
To almost meet you.
I am almost there, just an inch away from you. I extend my hands with the expectation of you helding back. But you didn't. Our hands almost touch until darkness take you away from me.
Anger. Hate. Jealousy. Pain.— was concealed behind the darkness. Why did you let them defeat you?
We almost had happened but why did you let the darkness consume you?
Standing at the middle of nowhere, is a girl, breathing but lifeless. How ironic is that? The numbness I felt was in its extrimity joined by the pain I was enduring to the point that, I believe, was too impossible to endure anymore.
Hope was nowhere to be found. I have a new guest. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Despair. Sweats were gone too, it was replaced by Tears.
Since then, Loneliness became my friend while Saudade happened to be my best friend.
And the next thing I knew, I was running again. But the difference is that, I am not chasing anything. I am being chased. By the past. With the memory of you and us.
