"Wake Up Maggots!" The guard yells as he passes each of our cell blocks. I slowly get up and look around. I do not know what I am looking for because it is the same as the last fifteen years. I am one of the lucky few that have a cell all to myself. I am currently in a camp for Draconic Bloodline Sorcerers. Both of my parents are Draconic Bloodline Sorcerers so it was only natural for me to become a Sorcerer also. My dad is a half elf and a descendant of a Golden dragon and my mom is also a half elf, but a descendant of a Red dragon. Two dragons with fire powers make me a high valued target. My parents were captured and brought here when I was two years old, under the false pretenses of getting protection. That was fifteen years ago. They make us do hard labor and then torture us even when we do great.

"Ouch" one of the prisoners yelps as he is whacked with a metal rod. Every guard here is a Barbarian or a Wizard. The Wizards are ranged so they are on the watch tower to blast at anyone they feel deserving. The Barbarians are the foot soldiers so they are up close and beat us with weapons. This building is not like other places. This building is made up of metal. The walls, ceiling, and floor are all metal. Other places are made of wood or stone, or so I am told from those that have been captured recently.

"Everybody! LINE! UP!" the highest ranking guard in the area yells. They are choosing who will suffer three weeks of torture. The torture varrys from person to person. I have no Idea what my torture would be.

"YOU!" a guard points at me. "YOU!" The same guard points to someone whose scales are white "AND YOU!" He points to an adult with dark blue scales. Everyone in this cell block is basically in the same age range and he was a few years older than us.

We are led deeper into the structure to the largest doors I have ever seen. They are very thick and bolt from the outside. I am forced into one with the label "ICE" and the door swings shut behind me. It is a very cramped room and I start to hyperventilate. I wonder what kind of torture I will have to undergo for three weeks strait. I try to bang on the door but it is no use. I know they will not answer me.

I suddenly hear a noise. It is the sound of a vent opening. Ice magic starts rapidly cooling the room. I scramble to try and shut the vent but it is no use. The room starts to have huge ice shards cover every surface. I look around to try and find a way to escape. I just look hopefully at an empty room. Every surface is now ice and I feel my body temperature rapidly going down. I curl up in defeat as I let the cold take me.

I wake up in a new cell. My body feels freezing and I can't move. I look at the other inhabitants. One's scales are the dark blue I saw before is twitching rapidly. Lightning torture. I think to myself. The one my age with the white scales is spreading his body out. Fire torture, the opposate of mine. I think to myself as I try to regain my body heat.

Once we all return to normal for the time being, we introduce ourselves. The Dark Blue one speaks first.

"I am Kakarot. I am a sorcerer with strong water abilities. Dragon on my father's side."

The White one goes next

"I am Teth. I am strong with Ice attacks. Dragon on my mother's."

Finally it is my turn.

"I am Anarack. I am double fire, Golden dragon on my father's, Red on my mother's."

They stare at me.

"TWO!? YOU HAVE TWO DRAGON ANCESTORS?!?!" Kakarot yells at me.

I look around but no guards are near. None in earshot so we are good.

"Doesn't that make you immune to flames?" Teth asks me.

"Yea... I guess... I am not sure. I was brought here when I was two years old. I have no experience in any of that." I respond cautiously. I just met them and I can't give away all of my secrets.

Just then a guard forces us out to do our share of work. We work to eat. I take up what I am good at, metal work. I work well with any metal but I just can't go near fire. So I am the one that brings the metal to the guards. I overhear that they are making a very special suit of armor. I listen closely and catch them saying something I don't understand.

"For the Prophecy. The chosen one will have to find it scattered around the world. Who knows where it will end up."

Every guard has been talking about the chosen one forever but no-one can tell who the chosen one is because we don't know anything about the Prophecy.

I finish my task and am escorted back to my new cell. I hope we get something good to eat today. I think to myself as my stomach cramps start up from malnutrition.
