hey y'all, welcome to another train wreck that is me trying to write.
so. this is a rafa fic, because (not to be a dramatic bitch, but) i'm probably in love with him. (i blame his "good morning mía" snippets for that.)
this story is centered around an original character, Arilyn 'Ari' Blackwell. Ari (pronouced Airy) is an ensemble member. Daveed took her under his wing as a surrogate little sister, and one day she meets Rafa when he moves to New York to be able to write with Daveed.
Trigger Warnings: Ari has an abusive partner, depression, anxiety, ptsd. as the story goes on, I may have to add another warning.
it's important here for me to explain that when i write serious stuff like this, it isn't just for the sake of it. it isn't just for views - i don't really expect that either way. it's not because there's anything "tragically beautiful" about it.
i write this stuff because i know what it's like. i write this to cope with my own problems (trust me i have a bucket and a half of 'em).
