Harper was just 9 years of age when her pack was attacked; their pack was believed to be holding the 'gifted' one, but no one knew anything of the 'gifted'. They were attacked until nothing remained, no one survived, except one.

Harper is now 18; forced to be a rouge at 9 and survive against the odds. She doesn't need anyone or necessarily want either; she thrives on her own. With a little help from a wolf named Alice; Alice and Harper had met when Harper was desperately trying to flee unwanted attention, Alice helped Harper in exchange for nothing, simply out of the kindness of her heart.
Of course Harper is faced with a new threat every day; depends on which pack lands she ends up on, but her latest land she ends up on could be her last.
