There was a part of her... that once filled with so much of innocence, tenderness and brightful smiles which had immedeatly dragged the attention of the King of all Gods. Indeed, world was a small place and within few seconds in her immortal life, she was owned by him.

Her hands tighten in to fists when his so bold, lying face suddenly came in to her mind. She never meant to live this life. Queen of Olympus is now a broken hearted, toughless goddess burying the pain of lost and love, yet stands in her all glory as the most powerful goddess in all creation. She is, after all their Queen and with a king like Zeus, she knew she had to stay with her family. Leaving them in chaos wouldn't do anything better. And yes, she was already trapped.

But part of her also wanted to believe that he loves her, he sees her everywhere whenever he leaves their chamber after fighting with her and imagines her face when he is about to lay down with another woman. Part of her firmly believed he would feel terrible if she rejects him and part of her knows he still values her, not just because she's the queen, but because she was with him all the time remaining as a faithful wife.

She's the goddess of marriage. Within her every cell she has to be faithful.

And behind of her, those giant marbel doors open for the king and Hera watches him stepping into their chamber, probably after messing with some of his admirers. She's facing at the mirror now, glaring directly at his blue orbs, her lips never forming the smile he is longing to see.

"I came back"

"I know"

Zeus sighes, knowing what bothers his wife, but continues to step forword so that he's right back at her. He feels her tensed breath, when he wraps his arms around her and buries his head in the crook of her neck, pressing his lips against her skin, inhaling the soothing smell of lotus flowers she used for her bath. He stays like that until she leans back and settles down to his touch.

"I'm sorry if I bother you..." He says, leaning back so that he can bury his face down in her long silk black hair, trying best to inhale the familiar scent. Despite of her thoughts, Hera tries to smile at her husband, muttering soothing words.

"It's alright. I just knew you would come back."

So the rest of night will nothing but fake, him making love to her and with her blank mind, she will hear him saying that he would always love her, only her.
But when the morning comes, the right side of the bed will always be empty, and the Queen of Gods will rise up alone in there, trying her best to forget the burning pain inside her heart.

A/N: So I'm not going to update any of my works again for a long time since I have to get ready for my finals and hope this is good enough for now:))
