He first took the bangles and made her wear them before picking up the earrings. Brushing her hairlocks away he made her wear them. Then picking up the brush he went behind her and started combing her hair. All the while she just stared at him, thanking god for giving her Rey as her husband. He noticed her blouse string was still untied so he brushed her hairlocks away and tied it. Giving a peck on the back of her shoulder he moved back and said,
"Done! Kuch or bhi hai?"
Taani smiled thankfully at him,
"Nahi thank you husband! Bas thoda sa make up hai, I'll manage that."
Rey nodded and stood there waiting for her while she put some kajal, eyeliner and lip gloss before turning to him and saying,
"I'm ready!"
Rey smiled admiring her,
"You are looking gorgeous. Bas ek cheez karni hai."
He moved closer to her and stood in front of her, while she looked at him confused, he stroked her eyelid slightly before putting his finger on the back of ear marking a black dot, she smiled at his action, he hummed saying,
"Hmm, now perfect!"
She smiled before swinging her arms around his neck holding him close, he leaned towards her joining their foreheads together and nuzzling their noses together making her giggle. He gazed at her lovingly but she found something new in his gaze, a little bit of pain and sadness, she stroked his eyes with her thumb asking,
"Rey, is there anything you need to tell me?"
He looked at her surprized, he knew she can read him, and he won't be able to hide this thing for long, and he wasn't going to, after all she had the right to know about this, he was just waiting for the puja to be over. He nodded,
"There is, I'll tell you tonight."
She nodded at him smiling,
"Okk, but promise you won't worry or be sad about that thing the whole day."
Caressing her face, he leaned pecking her lips for softly for more than a second, he pulled back leaving her in daze,
"I promise."
Opening their eyes, Rey moved back saying,
"Let's go down."
Taking her hand in his they walked out and downstairs to attend the puja.
Taarey were sitting in the living room along with gang and their parents. They all were laughing and chatting when Rey stood up and went before coming back with Taani's medicines,
"Jaan, medicine time. C'mon."
He sat beside her and opened the pack while Taani made faces seeing the pills, Rey shook his head at her,
"Faces banane se kuch nahi hoga jaan, you have to take the medicine."
Taani scrunched her face in disgust before pouting and whining,
"Rey please na, main theek hu. I don't wanna have them, they are so yuck!"
Rey rolled his eyes at her nautanki while everyone else chuckled, showing her stern eyes Rey told her,
"Fine, I'll give you a chocolate after this, have them first."
Taani made a baby pout,
"Promise?"
He sighed saying,
"Promise!"
The gang was enjoying the scene when Taani ate the medicine and Rey took out the chocolate for her feeding her, the girls went awe on the couple, Rinni said,
"Wow, Taani, Rey bilkul tumhara dhyaan ek bachhe ki tarah rakhta hai."
The girls agreed and Bharat said laughing,
"Haan bhai pata nahi, jab tumhara baby hoga to isko to do do babies ko pamper karna padega."
The gang and his parents laughed making Taani blush whiel reyam's face fell hearing him, Rey tried really hard to control his emotions which Swayam noticed and slightly kept his ahnd on Rey's shoulder to provide him comfort. Rey gave a small smile to Swayam showing as if he was perfectly okay but he could read his best friend perfectly. Taani noticed both Reyam and got confused, Rey wasn't looking happy with what Bharat said. She wondered why Rey did not even comment once on Bharat's line, when he was so eager to talk about their future kids all the time.
Thinking about their kids brought a small smile on their face, she unconsciously stroked her belly imagining their baby inside it. When she heard Avantika's words,
"vese I am eagerly waiting when I would become a grandmother."
And rishi too said,
"Haan specially to see ki kon hoga, chota Rey ya choti Taani."
Ragini asked them teasingly,
"To batao, Taani kab hume nana-nani bana rahi ho?"
Taani blushed hearing her making all the other's chuckled while Rey tried really hard to keep his tears at bay, He cleared his throat gaining control before looking at all of them, saying,
"Not anytime soon taiji, abhi hamara aisa koi plan nahi hai. We still need time to be parents."
Tanai looked at him confused whne he said that, because they never discussed about kids recently. He just told everyone, without even asking her, because she actually felt they were ready for a baby.
Maybe Rey doesn't want a child so soon.
She thought sadly and smiled at everyone to show agreement with Rey while the elders nodded at him in understanding and all of them again started talking about everything and anything.
