Part Thirty Eight-Getting Some Closure

"So Toru, we haven't gone and done anything outside of school for a while now. Not since my birthday that is" I say
(A.N I'll do a special chapter for Ryuji's birthday on Halloween, since that's when his birthday is)

"Is this about that whole thing about making it up to me for not hanging out with me during the festival? I already told you that you don't need to make it up to me, I understood the situation you were in" she says

"Well I've already made reservations for us" I say

"Why did you already make reservations?" She asks

"Because I knew that you wouldn't really turn me down" I say

I assume that she's giving me a look because she just remains silent.

"They're here everyone! Greet them!" I hear Iida say

The door opens and I wait to see who the guests are.

"Lock on with these sparkling gazes!" I hear a certain red cat say

"We've come to lend a paw and help!" Another one says

"Coming out of nowhere..." When I hear that voice shivers get sent down my spine

"Stingingly cute and catlike!" Another voice says

"Wild, Wild...Pussycats!" My personal favorite hero group all say

"Long time no see!" Iida says while bowing

"You kitties look like you've been doing well!" Ragdoll says

"Sorry I couldn't protect you two to the end back then" Tiger says to Bakugo and me

"Don't keep digging up the past" Bakugo says

"Don't worry about it. There were a lot of students to keep track of" I say

After that I watch Toru, Uraraka, and Ashido chant Paw pad buns over and over while joining in every other chant.

"Kota! Long time no see!" I hear Midoriya say

"It's the kid who punched Midoriya right in the baby makers! I still laugh at that memory" I say while reminiscing

"Midoroya, look. He chose them himself. He said he definitely wanted red" Mandalay says while pointing to a pair of shoes

"Seems like Midoriya also has his own number one fan" I say mostly to myself

We find out that the Pussycats are back in business. Only that Ragdoll is doing office work now since she lost her quirk.

"Great...another opportunity to give someone their quirk back...as if I didn't feel bad already" I think

"Why are you starting up again at this time?" Yaoyorozu asks

"This will be announced later, but for the Japanese Hero Billboard Chart, we ranked 411 for the second half of the year" Mandalay explains

Oh man, I both like and dislike that chart. I like it because it causes competition for who can be a higher ranked hero, which mostly has people work harder to actually do their jobs. But I also dislike it because some heroes will do anything to move up a rank...and I mean anything. I also feel that being a hero shouldn't be a competition.
