Eliza sighed, as she rubbed her eye, sensing the feeling of water covering her eyes. Amy eyes grew wide as she saw the teenagers eyes water, making the mum crawl across the floor, bringing the girl into a hug.
"what's wrong?" Amy asked, the words making Eliza break out into a cry as she allowed the tears to fall as she leaned across Amy's shoulder. Whilst being away this week, Amy has definitely taken the role of being Eliza's temporary mum when her own mum could not be available.
"I don't know." Eliza said inbetween sniffles, the girl feeling Amy's hand rub up and down her arm, to which did actually soothe the girl slightly. "I'm just feeling a little emotional today."
"That's okay lovely, you are allowed to be." Amy whispered, leaning her head on top of Eliza's, the two enjoying eachothers silence as Eliza's cries began to quieten.
It was true, she had no idea why she was crying, it just seemed when she woke up that morning, she knew her emotions were going to be extra high, making the girl more vulnerable. This happened often to the teenager, sometimes during her time of living at the sway house, Eliza would often lock herself in her room, not wanting to see or talk to anyone, as she would just cry.
The boys knew not to bother Eliza, even though it was often that Josh, Kio or Bryce alongside the help of Jaden, would leave 'packages' outside of her bedroom door, consisting of mainly chocolate and often Chili's, that being the girls comfort food.
"Are you going to be okay going back to LA? We can always change the flight for tomorrow?" Amy asked the girl, the Hossler mum going worried for Eliza, as her and Jaden were due to leave in a few hours for the airport.
"I'll be fine Amy thank you." Amy smiled at the girl, giving her arm one more squeeze before pulling away. Looking at the girl, she pulled on her sleeve before gently wiping the tears off Eliza's face, instantly making the girl smile.
"You sure you are going to be okay?" The mum asked the teenager, to which Eliza just nodded, of which allowed the two women to continue packing the girls suitcase.
"It was just a random meltdown, nothing to worry about."
"See that makes me worry Eliza."
"I promise you Amy, I'll be fine."
