**********WELCOME TO OUR POEM A WEEK CHALLENGE**********
In 2017 we challenged all Pubbers to write a poem a day, many took on the challenge and found it very daunting, some would say even crazy, hehehehehehe. So, we thought we would make the challenge a bit more manageable, by scaling it back to a poem a WEEK. We would like to:
INVITE ALL PUBBERS
TO JOIN IN ON THIS
POEM A WEEK CHALLENGE
The purpose of this challenge is to simply encourage writing, taking the time at least once a week to get a poem from your brain on to paper.
HERE IS HOW IT WILL WORK
1. Anyone that would like to join in needs to use and existing book or create a new book on their profile to post their poems in.
2. Send us a PM with a link to the book you will be using and let us know that you have joined the challenge.
3. We will post the cover of your book in the Chatter as well as here to let others know that you are participating.
4. Send us copies of your poems at least once a month, to post here in this collection.
5. Check the Pub Chatter 6th Edition each week for prompts for the challenge.
SUBMISSIONS:
ALL POEMS MUST BE SENT TO THE POETS PUB THROUGH A PRIVATE MESSAGE
ALL POEMS MUST BE SENT IN THE FOLLOWING FORMAT
Contest Name: Poem a Week Screen Name: (Your Screen Name) (e.g. PoetsPub) Poem Title: The Title of Your Poem Poem:
All information should be on one message, unless Poem length dictates otherwise.
5. Use the hashtag #PPPoem-a-Week on your book so that others can find them and enjoy your work.
6. You can join this challenge at any point during the year and you do not have to "catch up" (unless you want to) just start writing from the time you join.
7. Start writing at least one poem each week.
8. We have three poetry prompts each week in the Chatter, so you can use those for inspiration if you would like.
9. We have a participant's sticker that you are more than welcome to use, the link for it is in the comments below or send us a DM if you want us to email it to you directly.
