Third POV. (Point of View)
The THOUSAND SUNNY, a ship with a captain that has a smile that is worth more than gold or any treasure and is as bright as the sun, was sailing to Wano to defeat Kaido, one of the four Yonkos, or five, if you count the captain of the Straw-hat Pirates, but there was a little thing that had to be done first, what might it be? To get the captain of the Straw-hat Pirates up on his feet again! And get him and the rest of his crew to Wano to help and defeat Kaido!
Why do you ask? Well, the young captain known as Straw-Hat Luffy, or his full name being Monkey D. Luffy, was heavily injured from his fight with the top sweet commander of the Big Mom Pirates, Katakuri, and this wasn't the first time the young captain was is injured before, but this one was different from the others, Luffy used Four Gear to fight Katakuri, Cracker, and Big Mom, but the set back that he gets is hard on his body, much more so than Second or Third Gear was two years ago.
The young captain, Luffy, was in a comatose state and had something on his mind, which was rare for the boy to do because he never had thought about things before, well, since he used his instincts most of the time, but when he did some thinking, he would break down the problem or the situation of the time, and figured out what to do. (Plus another reason for marines to say he is the son of the devil.) The reason being what Vinsmoke Judge told him about Sanji, and that's what got Luffy thinking while in his comatose state, then he came to the same conclusion as his other theories, tell his friends, family and allies about his past and who he truly is, but who could help him with this outrageous request?
Luffy thought that the former Pirate King could do something like this, but it was impossible. He knew that the former king had died over twenty-three years ago in the public execution on that platform in his hometown, so how could the former king help him? What the boy didn't know was that the former Pirate King heard the young lad's request to let everyone he knew to see his past, and would help explain why he was the way he was. Gol D. Roger and his wife Portgas D. Rouge began to look through Luffy's mind to see who he wanted to see the memories, and they saw an easy to remember pattern.
Whenever Luffy meets a new person, his mind starts thinking about how he will see them, and what they mean to him. The pattern that they saw was a color pattern, gold for close family and friends, sliver for good friends, and bronze for allies and parental guides in his life, there was also gems with the colors, ruby and diamond with gold, sapphire and emerald with silver, and topaz and beryl with broze. While looking through the young lad's memories, Roger found a memory that made the former pirate king smile, the memory was Luffy with his father before Garp began to raise him, the boy looked about two-three years old with his father being either thirty-eight or thirty-nine years old at a glace, both the father-son duo looked happy with each other. Roger could tell that the boy and his father were upset about something, but what could it be? (Also it was the brightest and shiniest memory of all Luffy's memories.)
Well, he will have to ask the Most Wanted Man on Earth to get his answer to his question, after the couple finished looking through the boy's memories, Rouge thought of an idea for the people that were going to the memories, she wanted everyone to sit in chairs and have food and drinks while seeing the memories, Roger knew his lover would do this and he would never argue with her about it, because a woman's wrath is the last thing you need. With that the couple began to gather up the people that the young captain of the Straw-Hat Pirates wanted to see his memories. Soon after that, they could finally understand the young man's actions and see that he acts the fool, not fully the fool that he acts to be.
And with all that done, the fact that Luffy had a good idea of who was going to see his memories, not just Pirates, but also Revolutionaries and Marines as well. They wonder why Luffy was thinking when deciding who gonna see his memories, I mean I wouldn't want my enemies to see what he was before he became a Pirate, except Luffy had chosen enemies who became his adversaries after he had defeated them in battle, and then they saw the quality of a King in him.
