Three years later.

"Can I talk to you about something?" I asked Damon.

Now was as good a time as ever. He smiled.

"Of course. What is it?"

"I um..." I bit my lower lip. "I found out that I'm pregnant."

Damon's eyes opened wide, as did his mouth and he rose from his chair.

"Oh my God, Leah!! This is... so awesome!!" He exclaimed, the glee obvious in his eyes.

I sighed of relief as he took me in his arms and made me turn in the air.

"I love you so much, I'm so happy! Jayden is going be a big brother!!" Damon exclaimed, over-excited. "Since when do you know?"

"About two weeks..." I confessed.

I felt bad about keeping it for me all this time and I had no idea why I had.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked sweetly, taking my hand in his.

"I don't know, I was just... a little scared to."

He pulled me in a hug and passed his hand in my hair.

"You should know by now that there isn't anything you should be scared of telling me. And I am so happy about this baby, really."

I smiled against his chest.

"Hey, you didn't tell me if you liked my crepes!" Damon remarked, detaching himself from me.

It was still the only thing he could cook right and doing so reminded us of a lot of things. I wasn't able to cook in my underwear this time, given that our son could barge in any minute but it ended up the same way it had the first time. I loved that the passion, or the spark or whatever you want to call it, hadn't died between us even after all those years. He was the perfect husband, the best dad anyone could hope for except when he was being lazy like this morning, and I couldn't imagine what my life would have turned out like if he hadn't been there.

"They were... ok." I teased him and he frowned.

"Ok? They were awesome! I'm sure Jenny, Seth and Mathew will be with me on that point."

"Whatever. I need to go get dressed."

"Ugh, already? I wanted to undress you first." He said with a playful smile, passing his hand under my shirt.

"Jay's upstairs."

"Exactly. So he's not here."

He started kissing me, on the mouth then along my neck and I couldn't resist anymore. I led him to our room and we fell on the bed, after rapidly closing the door. Damon was about to take off my shirt when Jayden barged in. He quickly got off of me before our son would end up traumatized and passed a hand in his messy hair.

"Hey bud, what's up?" Damon asked, a little short of breath.

"I can't find my legos."

I sighted just a little bit before getting up to go look for them with him. We had moved in to a house in the suburbs and I was glad we had thought of buying one with an extra room so that Jayden wouldn't have to share his room with his sister or brother. I gave him his legos and watched him pile them up to form a house with his little hands.

"Why are you staring at our son like that?" Damon asked, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind and putting his chin on my shoulder.

"I don't know, I was thinking about the baby and I can't wait til we can watch them play together."

"Me too." I could hear his smile without turning around. "I hope it's a girl, I really want a mini Leah."

"I don't mind having two mini Damons."

"Our son is so perfect, isn't he?"

"I know right!"

He laughed and kissed my cheek. The doorbell rang and I rolled my eyes. Jenny and Seth never arrived at the right time. Damon took Jayden in his arms and held him horizontally while our son was spreading his arms to make it seem like he was a plane flying. I hurried downstairs to open and Jenny jumped in my arms. She was still as crazy and weird. Seth was holding Hayley in his arms but he put her down and came inside. He still wasn't a hugger. Their daughter had grown up in the little time I hadn't seen her and I kissed her cheek. Jayden was already handing her a lego and we took them upstairs to let them play together.

"Jenny, can yu help me get the cake downstairs?" I asked her.

She understood I needed to talk to her privately and kissed Seth rapidly before following me.

"I miss living with you sometimes." Jenny said, sitting on one of the stools.

"Yeah me too."

"Ok, so what's up. I know you didn't call me downstairs to reminisce about the old days."

"Yeah... I have something to tell you."

"Me too!" She exclaimed, clapping her hands in excitement.

I smiled.

"I'm pregnant." I said.

Jenny rose from her seat.

"No effing way!! Me too!!" She yelled before hugging me. "We are so connected!!!"

I laughed then frowned.

"Ew. I'd rather not be connecting while you do that with my brother!"

She laughed too.

"So, how far are you?" She inquired excitingly.

"Four months. It wasn't planned though so I only found out two weeks ago."

"That's why your boobs got bigger!" She exclaimed and I laughed. "Well I'm up to three months so my baby will be younger than yours again! But it doesn't matter, look at Jay and Hales, they're like brother and sister."

"I know, I love those two together."

"Yeah. But they will never be able to fall in love since Hayley is Jay's cousin."

Damon and Seth arrived downstairs so we got the cake out and talked all together while eating. Jayden and Hayley were playing together in the living room and we couldn't get over how cute they were. Mathew arrived a little while later and I couldn't believe that my life was so awesome. I had the most wonderful husband, the most perfect son, was pregnant with my second child at the same time as my best friend, I was a published author, my first and second book had been a bestseller and I was now working on my third. I don't know what was the best thing in all of that.

It could have turned out really different. Thank God it hadn't!

(A/N: So there you go guys, you have your happy ending. I don't know if it's good, I personally prefer the original ending even if it's super sad, I just feel like it's more logic and realistic but I enjoyed writing this happy ending too so I hope you guys liked it :) Thanks for reading and don't forget to let me know if you want more details about a particular moment in their life (like, I don't know, their legal wedding or Seth and Jenny's wedding, whatever you want)!! <3)
