Sanchi's pov:

Someone grabbed my arm while I was walking and I turned around.

"Seriously Sanchi.." Riya asked with a poker face

"seriously what?"I asked back.

"Your marks,I didn't know you were a topper Sanchi..why didn't you tell me before..I thought we were close"she complained

"Oh accha that..I thought something else..so you think I would come and tell like hi I am sanchi I am a nerd.."I answered..but the fact was I wanted to keep a low profile here..my marks..those I got with my hard work..I have a goal in my mind..and for doing that I've had to be a topper and get admission here.

"Exactly that..everyone says that"Riya told

"Okay Riya you are overreacting like always..can you just drop this topic..I'm really hungry now " I didn't like talking too much about me.I try my best to avoid the questions concerning too much about me. Riya is a sweet girl..and my first friend here. She expects a lot from me prolly

"Haah..okkie..let's go to canteen..we can grab some sandwich"

We had our lunch and returned to our classes and I headed to my room while Riya went to the library. She really works hard that I can say. She's not that bad in her studies yet she tries so hard..

I wanted to take rest today. My life here is going smooth so far but the only block there is kabeer..he seems to know me better than he should know.Today I zoned out of veer's convo..when he talked about enemy and backgrounds..it automatically took me to my goal and then I saw him staring at me..kabeer..

Last time when he caught me in that floor he wasn't convinced by my lies. But there's something about him intriguing..it seems like a connection?!

To be honest I'm scared. I don't want to fail after reaching so far . I studied hard, got admission and all for this one thing.
My parents don't know about this,infact noone knows.People often get fooled by my face..for them I'm the innocent sweet and nice nerd..but that's the facade I'm trying to keep to achieve my goal. But this facade somewhat comes in front of Kabeer..
