"You're not allowed to watch scary movies", Mariana said.

"Come on Mariana, don't be a tattletale", Jesus yelled.

They both looked at her with pleading eyes. She thought, tapping her chin for dramatic effect.

"Hmmmm", she said. She had both Brandon and Jesus scared to death.

Even if she didn't tell moms they watched it, she could tell them they had it, which was enough.

"Okay, I won't tell, on one condition", Mariana said.

Brandon rolled his eyes, he was being blackmailed by his little sister.

She looked at her brothers, they both had the same look at the moment.

Jesus was nervous, you could tell, but his confident stance was hiding it a little.

Brandon was standing a lot less confident, nervousness absorbing him, and showing all over his face.

"What is your condition Mariana", Brandon asked, clearly irritated.

Mariana smiled a little. "You have to play Barbie's with me all next week", she said, waiting for nods.

She heard deep sighs come from both of her brothers.

Then they looked at each other.

They both nodded.

"And you won't tell moms", Brandon asked.

Mariana thought for a moment, she told her moms everything! She was their little girl. They trusted her. She couldn't lie to them.

She chewed on her nail.

Maybe they wouldn't ask. The boys would play Barbies so well!

Her face contorted, deep in thought.

Barbies or trust?

"All right, I won't tell moms", Mariana said finally, feeling guilty as she left the room.

Brandon also felt guilt. He was supposed to be the oldest.

He was supposed to be responsible.

"This is gonna be awesome" Jesus said, grabbing his hand as they colliding for a bro hug.

Brandon laughed, he couldn't resist his excitement. He was about to watch a scary movie. For the first time in his life.

They raced towards the couch. Brandon grabbed the remote from the coffee table and fast forwarded until he got to the main menu.

Then, he pressed play.

Two hours passed and the credits appeared on the screen. The movie was over.

Jesus and Brandon layed on the couch in awe.

The movie was awesome. There were parts where he screamed, parts where he laughed, and parts where he made his brother scream.

But, the living room was darker than they remembered.

Brandon stood up and made a dash for the light switch.

He laughed ,"That wasn't that scary", he said, looking at Jesus.

Jesus's eyes were wide. He had no expression.

Brandon started to get scared.

"Jesus, are you okay", he asked, sincerely. Not coming any closer though.
