Chapter 5: Lessons

"Jessie cmon! Just jump." Nicholas said standing in the pool.

"Okay! Give me a minute!" I said whining while standing on the edge with my hands in fist.

Both kids were under the shade in the play pin.

"I've giving you five minutes already! Just jump! I'm right here." He said

Nicholas had told me to go change into my swimsuit while he did the same.

We argued for half an hour about if the kids needed sunscreen or not.

I won.

After I had lathered them up in sunscreen and made sure they were okay and safe..

I made my way to the side of the pool.

"Jessie! Just jump!" He yelled laughing.

"No Nevermind! I don't want to do this." I said and began running towards the door to the house.

I heard water splashing and then strong arms went around my waist and lifted me off the ground.

I squealed as he carried me towards the pool and then ran towards the deep end.

"Nick no!" I screamed but then felt the cool water surround me.

I was lifted up and we came out from top of the water.

My arms quickly went around his neck and held me in his arms.

"Damn you!" I said as my legs were around his hips now and there was no space between us but our faces.

He chuckled as he walked to the shallow end.

"You can let go now Jess." He said

I looked around and saw we were now in an area I could stand.

"Oh.. Ya" I said mumbling and let go of him standing.

I decided to wear my black bikini top with tribal bikini bottoms.

He had came out in his black swim trunks.

Damn he's got some abs..

"Okay. So first im going to teach you something simple." He said

"Which is?" I asked

"Floating" he smiled and then just fell back flat and was floating on the water.

"I'm not doing that" I said and began trying to escape.

"Uh uh uh" he said and grabbed my arm, pulling me back.

"Nick cmon. Please don't make me do this" I said

"Oh stop being such a baby. I got you" he said and held me in bridal position.

"Okay. Just lay flat and relax.. Close your eyes." He said down to me.

I gave him a glare and he gave me one back "Just do it" he said

I tried relaxing and listened to his instructions.

I just laid there, eyes closed.. In silence.

"You're doing it!"

I looked to see Nick moved away from me and no longer holding me.

I gasped before I sunk down under the water but was quickly pulled up by my arm.

I gasped for air and wiped my hair back away from my face.

"You okay?" He asked chuckling.

I rolled my eyes "Shut up. I'm fine." I said
