Nighty's POV
"Mommy! When is dad coming home?" I asked my mom. "I don't know Nighty, but for sure soon!" She smiled at me. We were just watching the news on the TV, until we saw that... "We got that news, a member of the element squad, Poison brutally murdered all of the element cats. The corpses didn't have the necklance on them. The case is still under investigation, but..." Mom turned off the TV. When I heard the news, I watched the turned off TV in shock. My dad doesn't come home anymore... no more... I started to cry. Mom hugged me in tears. After I got rid of my Mom's grip, I ran into my room crying.
The next day a package arrived adressed to me. But why a package adressed to me? After all I'm just a child... Nevermind. My mom brought the package to my room. I opened the box, but didn't want to belive my eyes. It contained my Father's element necklance! In addition, when I put it on, it fit my neck perfectly, tough I was much smaller than my dad's. I also rushed to show it for my mom. She was very happy, when she saw me, and looked out of the closet for an old coat. I noticed, this jacket belonged to my dad. I was happy to put it on.
The school was different. Apparently everyone knew my father is dead. I was immediately singled out by the bullies... They even tore my coat. I've broken here. I felt my life made no sense.
I was twenty-five years old, I still lived with my mother... Nice, is not it? But my necklance spoke one day... "The elements need you, Nighty."
