Jongin had been working all day, and had just returned from the company. There were many meetings with the other companies, they were thinking of collaborating their business together to get more attention from the citizens. Most of it had been confirmed, but some were refused. He was supposed to go back tomorrow to talk again, but today's work had him weak and tired.

The only reason he was still walking, and dragging his almost asleep legs towards his apartment room was Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo was his lover, everything about the shorter male made him feel stronger in a positive way. Kyungsoo was always there to support his decisions and make him smile once more after a tough night.

They share the apartment, thus he wanted to keep going so he could see that beautiful smile of Kyungsoo's. They hadn't had any time together, and Kyungsoo seem to have grown a little distant, but his smile was always there, that's how Jongin knew they were never going to go apart. He plastered a huge smile on his face when he approached the apartment door.

With a short sigh, he slid his card through the scanner and wait until he heard a click, indicating the door was now unlocked. Thinking about how Kyungsoo might be already asleep, he gently pushed the door open, hoping to create as less sounds as possible. It was already midnight, so he doesn't expect his lover to stay awake and wait for him.

He wasn't supposed to come early today, he had told Kyungsoo he'd return around 2 to 3 am. But he was sure Kyungsoo would be happy to see him a few hours early. As he thought, the apartment was dead silent. Even the cars from the road outside couldn't make it because their walls and windows are sound proof. Well, it wasn't the stronger type of soundproof material, but it was strong enough to block out unwanted sounds from the neighbors at night.

Glancing at the dinner table, Jongin caught sight of some leftovers Kyungsoo had left for him. It wasn't much of a 'leftover' considering its big portion. He only smiled because that's how Kyungsoo was, there would never be a time he came home and there's nothing waiting for him because there would always be something waiting for him, even if it's just a huge fruit bowl.

Setting his things by the couch, he went over to take a look at what was in the bowl. To his surprise, it was porridge, and not only did it smell good, it was also still warm. His smile grew bigger, knowing that Kyungsoo must've been there not too long ago. He had a thought of going now and greeting Kyungsoo with a hug in bed, but decided to eat first because he was so hungry.

It'd been a while since he had something to eat. He skipped supper due to his busy schedule and had been starving since, good thing he had his water bottle to help calm down the grumbling. "Thank you Kyungie." He whispered, before sitting down and digging in.

Just as expected, it was delicious beyond the stars. Everything Kyungsoo cooked was always great, not even the professional chefs at one of the restaurant his company owned cook that good. He considered hiring Kyungsoo, but the other refused due to his busy schedule at school.

He'd always say how fun the kids were, and how the teachers all treated him well. Jongin had been jealous a few times, but his lover would always help him get over it. He trusted Kyungsoo anyways, there was no doubt in him that he had for his lover.

Quietly moaning to himself after each scoop, Jongin finally finished the porridge. He placed the bowl in the sink and made his way towards his and Kyungsoo's bedroom. It was the only bedroom in the apartment, because Jongin wanted that. The door was closed tight, and usually it would squeak a littler if it were opened, so Jongin gently placed his hand on the knob and softly twisted.

Kyungsoo was a light sleeper, so any sound would have woken him up. Jongin doesn't plan on that, so he hoped that luck was on his side as he opened the door carefully. To his hopes, there was no squeak, or anything, just the sounds that were coming from the bedroom inside. He didn't open the door wide enough, but just enough so he could see through the crack.

He bit his lip, his heart dropping all the way to his toes as he watched. Even if he wanted to move, go in and stop them, or even just turn away and run, he couldn't do it. He could feel his eyes watering as he watched silently, taking in all that he could.

Kyungsoo was distant because he had other thoughts in mind, the porridge was warm because he had just finished eating, and the portion was larger than normal was because.....he was sharing it with someone else. He didn't want to work at some restaurant because he had others to make him smile at the school. It wasn't the kids that made him happy, it was always going and seeing that teacher.

Kyungsoo had introduced him to a teacher once when his schedule wasn't busy. The male teacher was very kind to both him and Kyungsoo, his smile was bright and shining. Jongin liked him right away, knowing that he'd take good care of Kyungsoo. But maybe he'd thought wrong. Maybe they had too much time together.

Jongin could feel his cheeks wet as tear rolled down after another.

Nothing hurt more than seeing the one you loved with your life with someone else. Jongin's lips trembled when Kyungsoo moaned again, and again, one after another, he moaned that teachers' name. He grabbed that teachers back and pulled him in, held him closer and kissed him passionately. Jongin shut his eyes, hoping to also shut the noises out as he turned and walked away.

He left that night. Leaving everything he thought Kyungsoo would need and just left without a word. He grabbed his work, his importance and left the door locked as if he'd never returned to see Kyungsoo sleeping with other men. He had no mean in returning, because if he did, the horrid scene would haunt him until no end.

He'd never thought Kyungsoo would do that to him. Their love was always strong, he thought. There would be no force that'd pull them apart because their love was true. But maybe he was the only delusional one. Maybe he was the only one who loved Kyungsoo more than anything. It was his mistake for being blinded by Kyungsoo's smiles. It was his fault for not seeing how things would be.

He doesn't blame Kyungsoo, the latter probably got sick of him because he was always gone. He could only blame himself for being so stupid.

When morning came, he received calls after calls from Kyungsoo. He didn't answer one, and left it ringing until his battery died. After that, he bought a new one and threw out the old one. There was no need to keep contacting each other, Kyungsoo didn't have to act like he cared, because he really doesn't.

Jongin bought a new apartment far away from the old one and transferred his position to their other company. He made sure to never see Kyungsoo again, and made sure it was as if they never had anything together. Kyungsoo secretly cheated, probably hoping to never get caught, and Jongin won't have that in his life. There wouldn't be any explaining for what Kyungsoo had done because it was a personal choice to moan the teachers name, it was a personal choice to kiss him with so much love.

From now on, Jongin won't know Kyungsoo. They were nothing.

A/n: short, but heartbreaking lol
