I'm currently sat on wickery bridge watching the lake shimmer in the moon light thinking of the last time I was here autum 1001 when my mother did the immortality spell the night my life changed forever ! hearing a car approaching I carried on walking towards the town the car started to slow down and I turned my head to see if i should get ready fight the car window rolled down and 2 of the hottest guys was sat in the front seat "hey you okay ? Your looking a little lost ?" I nodded smiling "yea I'm good just been a while since I was home !just getting my bearings is all" I chuckled "okay then we'll you need a lift?" I shook my head " no I'm good thanks I'm liking my stroll" I said smiling "alright then well see you around ..." The blue eyed guy said looking at me silently asking for my name I chuckled "Melissa and yous ?" I smiled where have I seen those who eyes before I tought looking deep in his eyes  "I'm Rick that's Damon nice to meet you" the driver said I smiled at him well ain't you a hotty I said in my head as they drove away where do I no those eyes from !

Coming to a stop I stood in front of mystic grill hearing laughter and chatter from inside I headed in "yepp think it's definitely time I get a drink!" I mumble to my self walking in it was packed ! I made my way to the bar a took a seat cute little blonde made his way over to me "Your a new face, can I get you a drink" he said smiling at me I smiled "your observant, your best bourbon please a double" I said to him chucking slightly he chuckled and grabbed a glass " what's a girl like you doing in a town like this then?" He said while making me my drink " well this is where my family is originally from my ancestors lived here before there even was a here I'm just trying to see if this is a place I can set up home figured they lived here why not give it a shot" I said taking my bourbon and downing it feeling the warmth rush over me it definitely does help with the hunger it was so loud in her my head was running wild "you don't say your another founders kid" he said to me chuckling I glanced at him with a confused look and raised my brows "what's the mean ?" I said chucking "you don't like us founders uhhhh Matt is it ?" I said glancing at his name tag "it's not the founders I don't like it's the drama that follows ..." waiting for my name " Melissa can call me mel though if you want" I said smirking just a little fun won't hurt I said in my head  "and what could you possibly mean drama this town looks so homey" I said genuinely confused there was no sign of weirdness in this town look like a comfortable little homey town he just chuckled and started to serve the next customer looking over to me he said "don't judge a book by its cover we're full of mystery's here" he said from across the bar I just chuckled "thanks for the warning I think" I said laughing "can I have another please?" I said to him and he nodded and carried on working sorting out my drink my eyes started to wander as I looked trough the bar my head couldn't stop thinking about what Matt said it's a mysterious town what does that mean ! "Hey Matt time do you get off" a handsome young man said walking to the bar he had dark brown hair and brown eyes buff and tanned well he's nice on the eyes I tought "errrm in about a hour I think ty why you alright?" He said walking straight to the bottom of the bar to the lad " yea erm I kinda have to talk to you is all" he said looking at me with weird eyes like he could tell I wasn't just a regular human I looked away and started to play with my glass before taking a sip "yea ty I'll come by your house when I'm done alright just wait for me at home" Matt said "yea man just hurry up alright" ty said tapping the bar and running out "that the so called drama you was talking about" I said to him and he chuckled walking back up the bar nodding " your observant" he said chuckling quoting me from before I chuckled "right Matt thanks for the drink" I said getting up and downing the last of my drink "it's been fun ,I guess I'll see you around" I said to him putting money on the top and grabbing my jacket "I guess you will" he said smirking
Turning and leaving I made my way to my old friends house stefan Salvatore I met Stefan in the 60 I new him and lexi we've stayed in contact well till I fell of the grid for there safety and my own safety I lost contact about 6 year Ago and I miss them there basically the only friends I got so I'm tryna find them while I'm looking for a home my home I've been a mess my whole life at some point I've gotta stop and take a beat, hence mystic fall I can find stefans uncle Zak and ask for help In finding Stefan as well as finding my roots finding a home And maybe some family history ?
Knocking on the door I heard moving around the house the door Handle moved and the door started opening "Katerina !!!" I said my eyes burning I went to run at her but the barrier held be back I growled at her showing my teeth " Stefan STEFANN !I'm not Katerina I'm Elena!" She said to me after screaming for Stefan I pulled the fury away from my eyes and looked at her the door got pulled open more and Stefan came into view ! "Stefan" I whispered my chest falling in content " mel !" He said coming to me and wrapping his arms around me I squeezed him so tight " my god mel where'd you go ! I've missed you so much!" He said to me grabbing my face "I had to leave family troubles and all that" I said shrugging to him I've never told Stefan who I am just because it would make things hard to explain "where's lexi is she hear !" I said with a smile on my face and Stefans eyes turned broken "stef where's lexi ?" I asked again and he shook his head I turned around shaking my head " nononononono what happened , WHAT HAPPENED !" I said turning back around snapping at him " my brother he erm he" " I killed her I didn't mean to I was in a bad place it was me my fault!" The guy from the car the other night come into my view putting his hands on his chest ! Looking wary of me ,I new I seen those eyes Stefan had pictures of his brother way back when even tho there relationships rocky " you ! Why why would you do that !" I said to him he didn't answer " she was good she was always good !" I said to him " Ino and I'm sorry" he said to me I looked at Stefan " she helped you she saved you Stefan! She was so happy with life she was content had everything under control how how Is she dead ! She was one of the good ones!" I said my shoulders falling in defeat my heart is heavy and I dunno how longer I can hold on to my humanity my Face is soaking from my tears I turned and looked at Stefan in dispare  "I'm drowning Stefan I dunno how long I can stay afloat the world is sucking me up and I just can breath Stefan ! I'm suffocating everything's broken !" I said to him my knees giving out under me my whole body started shaking I had no control I was feeling to many emotions " mel !mel hey it's okay it's okay come on mel hey look at me!" I could here and see Stefan in front of me trying to speak to me console me while I grieve but my head was cloudy and my heart was so heavy I could feel it in my stomach my body was being lifted into Stefans arms "come in" I heard Elena say next thing I was lay on a bed and my eyes was shut blackness consumed me!
