The Voice (Adam Levine love story)

Chapter 1

--Adam's POV--

The first day of the blind auditions had officially started. The producers had Blake and I sitting on opposite sides with CeeLo and Christina in the middle of us. If we were any closer, I'd most likely kick that cowboys ass. But in the end, he's like family to me. And so is Christina and CeeLo.

Once we were called to take a seat in our rotating red chairs, the room lights dimmed and music began to play. The first contestant to show off his voice was a country boy. He performed Play It Again by Luke Bryan. His voice had so much potential to get better with practice but i knew that he needed a coach that truly understood his genre of music. Blake pressed his button for him. Do I wish i pushed it ? Yes but I'm glad he got a very talented coach to guide him in the right direction. CeeLo tried everything he could to convince him to go onto his team but we all knew his mind was made up from the moment blake turned around.

The second contestant was a girl. I knew right away because of the light clicking sound her heels made as she walked to the stage. I Will Always Love You came on and I thought of how amazing Whitney sang that song. It was a risky move for her to choose that song to sing because everyone will compare her to Whitney. And lets be honest here, she has the greatest voice of any female artist. But I was surprised at how good this girl was. Their was so much mystery and sexyness in her voice that I instantly knew she had to be on my team. Not waiting any longer, I slammed my hand down on the red button and slowly came in contact with the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen. Soon after I turned the other three judges turned too. This girl's voice was nearly perfect. Once the song ended, I looked up at her and began to talk. "What's your name?" A smile formed on her face as she said, "Bella" "Wow. Bella, words can't even explain how phenomenal you are. You're a star and you belong on team adam. If i could make you the winner right now I would."

"Thank you so much Adam it means alot." She replied. The rest of the judges gave their speeches but I zoned out replaying her performance over and over again in my head, until I heard the three words that made me rise out of my chair. "I choose Adam." My hands went up for victory. I walked towards the stage where the newest member of my team was standing and gave her a hug. "Your great. I promise to take you all the way to the end." I whispered in her ear. One of my hands found its way on her back while the other was picking up her legs. I twirled Bella around and around to rub it in the judges faces.
She giggled and walked off stage with a smile on her face.

Days quickly passed by and teams were filled up. I created a really strong team with outstanding singers. Some may be better then others. But the one who stood out amongst all the other artists on my team, was Bella. There was something unique about her. I just hadn't found what it was yet. Because the one on one meetings were approaching, I will have the chance to focus on her vocals and learn a little bit more about Bella. Yes I was a bit excited but I'm trying my best to hide it so others don't become suspicious.

For the first battIe round, I paired Bella with Toby. He's a great singer, but nothing compares to the roughness that Bella has in her voice. My mind was already set on who i wanted to keep, but i had to give the man a chance. I scheduled the meeting with Bella first. She walked in and gave me a hug. I smiled and directed her to the couch. "This week, you will be singing Aint No Other Man by Christina Aguilera with toby. How exactly do you feel about singing one of the judges songs ?" i asked her.

"A bit nervous but im gonna put my heart into this song because it would mean so much to me and my family if I win. My parents can't afford to help me try and put myself out there to record labels so this is my only chance."

"Wow thats great Bella." I replied. We went on to practicing her vocals even though they didnt need any work. She was already perfect. Bella was doing justice to Christina's song. It's a great selection for her and i'm sure Christina will be very happy with it.
