He is the captain of the football team. He works really hard in everything he does because he doesn't want to be a disappointment to his father, but his father still calls him worthless and says he isn't doing anything with his life. He works at a pizza shop to support his family who are struggling. They live in a really small house and there are 5 of them, his mother and father, and his two little siblings - his little brother(9) and little sister (7). He also works really hard in school so he is more likely to get a scholarship for football.
He always found more masculine girls attractive, so it was really no surprise to him that he started to crush on the captain of the soccer team, but that doesn't stop him from being troubled by it. When they start hanging out he tries to keep it as quiet as possible so his friends/teammates and his family won't find out.
