Weakness Number 1 [Bokuto x Reader ]

Part 5

"Thanks guys," you said to them. "Now enough about my problems. Tell me about you guys! Anything new?"

"Nothing really. Life for me is pretty boring at the publishing company. Just designing more book covers," said Misaki. She was a talented artist. Not only were her book cover designs beautiful, but so was her art outside of work. She would make paintings, drawings, and so much more to sell. 

"Same," said Rin, "I've been busy with school. I do have some exciting news though." With this Rin blushed. You and Misaki had a feeling you already knew. "Hinata asked me out on a date this Saturday!"

"Finally! It took him long enough!" you said

"Where is he taking you?"

"I'm not sure. It's suppose to be a surprise."

"You're going to have to tell us how it goes!" You smile while Misaki saying this. You're so happy for your sister!

Your sister is smiling too and said she will.

~Some time later~

After you left from your meet up with Misaki and Rin, you went to class. Your professor let you out 10 minutes early. You decide to go to the library to study for a test that you had the next day. You find your favorite spot in there to study, a small table in the back by the window. It was a little secluded from the busier sections of the library. You do work and study for an hour before you need to take a break. You look at your phone and see you have one new message. It's from Bokuto.

Hey! I was wondering if I could see you to drop off your shirt. Would I be able to meet up with you someplace or drop by your apartment?

You of course wanted to see Bokuto again, and you didn't mind seeing him, but you had to study for this exam. 

Well, I could ask him to meet after I'm done. I just don't know what time that will be. 

You reply back.

Sure! I'm going to be in the library on campus most of the day studying, but I can meet you when I'm done? I just don't know when that will be.

You hit send and wait for a reply. 

"Hey [Your name]" you look up from your phone to see Haru. "Thought I would find you here. Studying?"

"You know it. Somehow have to learn all this material before tomorrow."

"You got this," he said sitting down across from you, "you always say things like you're going to fail, but then end up doing just fine."

"I know, I know. It's just I get nervous is all that I'll forget what I studied"

"I can quiz you if you want?" 

You look into Haru's bright blue eyes. "Really? That would be awesome!" you hand him your study materials. You study with him for awhile until you hear your phone go off. You look at it to see that Bokuto had replied back. It read:

Okay! Let me know when you're done studying? And we can find a place to meet? 

You reply back:

    I'll let you know. I'll probably be here a few more hours.

Bokuto quickly responds back saying okay and next to it is a little owl emoji and then he said "Good Luck"

"What are you smiling about?" Haru questions. 

"What? I'm not smiling." You put your phone done. 

"Yes you are! It's right on your face!"

"Whatever, I need to get back to studying." you reach for your notes but he puts them up out of your reach.
