Weakness Number 1 [Bokuto x Reader ]

Part 5

"YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT BOKUTO WAS HALF NAKED IN YOUR APARTMENT AND NOTHING HAPPENED BETWEEN YOU TWO BESIDES A HUG?!?!" Your sister, Rin, practically yelled to the whole cafe.

"Can you please keep it down?" you whisper/yell at her. Yea, Rin can be super shy and quiet, but you felt that rarely ever happened around you and Misaki.

"I kind of agree with Rin, [Your name]," Misaki said, sitting next to you, "considering your history with each other and the fact that the power going out while you bump into him happened. That is literally a seen from a romance movie."

"Though, since it's Bokuto, the movie you're in is probably a romantic comedy!" Rin said, being more quieter than before.

It was the day after Bokuto was in your apartment. You had met up with Misaki and Rin at a local cafe. You decided to tell them what happened, even though you knew that it would lead to something such as this. You were still confused on your feelings for him. 

"It's just, I don't know," you say to them shyly, "We were together at one point in our lives, so I don't know if I'm feeling the way I am because we have a history together or-"

"Or you are actually falling for him again?" Rin finished your sentence.

You nodded your head. Your friends knew you were never the type the rush your feelings, but this time, it was different. It wasn't like this was your first time meeting Bokuto; you two had already built a history together and it was a long history. Even though you two had both changed from high school, you were both still yourselves. 

"You know [ Your name]," Misaki was speaking now, "when you told me that you and Bokuto decided to go your separate ways, I thought it was the dumbest thing you had ever done."

"Thanks Misaki," you said sarcastically. She always said things so bluntly, which would get her in trouble sometimes with others. However, you actually preferred it because she would always tell you the truth.

"I mean it. When you two were together, you were both so happy. I had never seen you smile about the others you dated the way you would smile just talking about him. I understand why you did what you did though, but I just wish you had at least tried to make it work."

You try to think back to why you decided to do what you did in high school. "Well, it's just, Bokuto has always made his presence known. I- I don't know exactly why but I just didn't want to hold him back. I was afraid I would keep him from his dream, and I didn't want to change mine either. I don't regret going to school in the United States."

"And you shouldn't," said Rin, "but now that you both are where you want to be, what's the harm in falling for him again? And by the way it sounds, I think Bokuto may have feelings for you too."

"Or he's just oblivious like normal," you state. "To be honest, I don't feel like I deserved him. I mean, I had him once and let him go."

"People get back together with their exes all the time! And sometimes, they shouldn't, but I don't see any problem with you and Bokuto getting back together if you did. You guys ended things on decent terms the first time and it's obvious that you guys each has some left over feelings." Misaki said

"You ever think [ You Name] that maybe, when you two were together, it just wasn't the right time for your relationship.But now that you're both older and more settled in life, it could be the time," your sister was looking at you, her green eyes trying to peer into your soul to help you make sense of your feelings. 

"Maybe you're right, but I just am never really good at this type of thing."

Misaki patted you on the back, "We know, but that's why you have us here to help you!" You smile at your sister and friend. You honestly count Misaki as your second sister, and so does Rin. You three had been together for a long time and could always tell when something was up with each other.  They always listen to your problems. You count yourself lucky to have them both.
