mattia sat on his couch, phone being gripped loosely in his left hand as he internally freaked out.

he subconsciously nibbled on his thumb as his right leg bobbed up in down at an unnecessarily fast pace.

a big part of him knew that this was all just a big joke but the gremlin side of kairi was creepy as hell and he wanted no part of it.

he was so fucking creepy.

suddenly a sound caught mattia's ear and he jumped up from his spot on the couch, looking towards his window in alarm.

now—mattia had been paranoid for a good thirty minutes now. jumping at every little sound and looking all around his room every two seconds.

it was rhythmic tapping on the small window right next to the couch that he happened to be sitting on. like someone was drumming their fingers against it.

kairi came through that small space all the fucking time.

the tapping quickly changed into loud banging.

mattia unfroze, immediately running towards his bathroom before frantically opening the door and entering, not thinking twice before he shut it and locked himself in.
