Why would Cameron even think to ask me if I would ditch? I would never ditch school especially with finals coming up.

“Matthew Espinosa! Come downstairs now and eat your breakfast you are going to be late!” My mom commanded.

“I’m going, hold on!” I replied.

I grab my phone and backpack and go downstairs.

“Why did you take so long matt?” asked my mom.

“Cameron called me.” I answered.

“What did you guys talk about?” she questioned.

“Oh, nothing.” I mumbled with food in my mouth.

“Well, you better get going or you’ll be late.” Commented my mom.

“Yeah I should. Tell dad I said bye.” I said in a rush.

I put on my backpack get my skateboard and took off for school. As I get to school I see Cameron and all of my other friends, Nash, Hayes, Aaron, Shawn, Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky. They didn’t see me arrive so I went inside as quickly as I could. The first bell rings and I walk into my class. I sit on the last row beside a window with a great view of the park outside the school. But this time the window was open. The wind carried the sent of nature inside the classroom, it was the most relaxing scent ever.
