A month later
I was eating chicken when Quan walked in yelling on the phone
"Bitch I don't care if you have Covid I want my damn moneyyyyyy" he said

Jayda walked into the kitchen with a box filled with stuff
"Ouuuu what's this" I asked
"Old clothes I'm finna sell" she told me
"Oh okay well let me know when selling some of those handbags" I said
"Will do" she laughed
I ate the last bit of my chicken but started to feel it come back up.
I got up, ran to the bathroom and started throwing up in the toilet
"Mani you okay?" Jayda asked walking in the bathroom
I continued to throw up and she ran over to hold my hair back
"What the hell did you eat?" She asked
"Just that chicken" I said
"Well maybe you're sick"
"I don't know my heads been hurting, my boobs are so damn tender and now throwing up" I said
"Wait a minute, Mani are you pregnant?" She asked
"What? No there's no way" I said and flushed the toilet
I got up and washed my hands then started brushing my teeth and rinsing my mouth
"So when's the last time you had your period?"
"Last month" I stated
"Mhm yea let's go get that pregnancy test" she said and left the bathroom
I followed her and grabbed my purse off the couch then left
We got in her car and she drove to Walgreens. When we got there I got out and went inside looking for tests
"I found it" Jayda said
I went over to the next aisle where she was and picked up a test
