"your everything a man should be" i grabbed his hand. "your my peace. my safe haven" he smiled.

"i love yo' beautiful ass" he hooked a finger under my chin lifting it so our lips connected once again.

"ughhh" i groaned hearing Nas cry. "i'll be back"

"no. i got it" he kissed my head before going over to the couch soon coming Nas down.

"is Nas coming?"

"nah. i wanna take you somewhere after and i think it'll be better if he's not there" i straight faced him.

"we're not leaving our son with your mom so we can fuck" i crossed my arms.

"we not fucking" he chuckled shaking his head. "but if it leads to that then i'm down" i rolled my eyes.

"where we going then?"

"you'll find out" he shrugged. "ima go get him ready. you go do your lady shit" he kissed my cheek before heading into Nas's room.

after getting something to eat, i made my way to the hallway trying to get to our room but stopped by Nas's door hearing pop talk to him.

"you think yo mama gon like it? i hope she do cause i ain't changing my mind" he chuckled. "i just wanna take the next step for our family. i think we ready, ain't we"

"dada!" he giggled making pop laugh.

the next step?

is he gonna propose ..

shit i said one day!

not now..

i quickly went past the room and into our room shutting the door behind me with my heart still racing and my blood pressure going up.

"just calm down" i mumbled to myself as i went into our bathroom. "it's gon' be okay. you don't even know if that's what he's planning" i said to myself in the mirror.

-

after i calmed down a little, i went back out in the living room with blue while pop did whatever in our room.

if he does propose.. idk what i'll do.

i love him with everything in me.. but i'm so fucking scared to get married.

especially at such a young age.. we're only 23.

"look how pretty mommy look" i turned my head seeing pop with Nas in his arms as they walked to me.

"mommy!" he giggled reaching for me.

"hey baby" i chuckled taking him from pop sitting him on the counter. "you look so handsome!" i smiled at his curls that showed perfectly.
