The summoning

Logan's POV:

I swiftly walked back to my room. I wonder why Deceit stuttered. Might as well add that to my notes. You see, I've been noting Deceit's actions, ever since he acted so odd to Virgil and Roman snapping on him. The usual Deceit wouldn't care but he seemed so scared, it only showed for a second however so i can't be sure. I keep a note of weird actions anyway, it might help other sides understand Deceit. Maybe even act kinder, warmer, not so horrible. To be honest, I hate the other sides (not Deceit though), then again, Patton makes an effort, but i bet Deceit sees right through that. However... there's one more thing that bugs me about Deceit... The way he acts so coldly to Patton.. He doesn't act that way in front of me, Virgil and Roman, but i've seen him do it.. it's strange, because i expect him to act coldly to Virgil or Roman, not Patton.

Strange...

I head over to my mirror to check for any unprofessional imperfections however i notice something. There was blood on my shirt... In the exact place Deceit had placed his right hand in shock when i hugged him. There were two stains of blood, one in the shape of a finger and another where a wrist would be... Was Deceit hurt? Why didn't he tell me, i could've healed it for him. After i changed my shirt, I was debating whether or not to go back and ask him if he needed help but just as i started thinking about it, someone bursts into my room with happiness. "Logieeeee!" Patton said in a happy voice."Come,Come! We are going into the real world to help Thomas choose something to do with his friends!". Logan turned around. Patton stood there practically bouncing. "Very well, I don't see why i have to come, however, i guess i will." Logan replied. "Goody goody! Cya there kiddo!" And with that, Patton left the room. With one last thought about Deceit, Logan left his room and entered the real world.

No one's POV:

Thomas stood in his usual spot, seeming kind of nervous. Logan picked up on that and wondered what Thomas was nervous about. "Sooooo," Thomas said awkwardly, not knowing where to begin,"Any idea-". Roman already started saying his ideas with enormous detail and thought. After an hour of this, Thomas anxiety picked up a bit more, Virgil did not even cause this, seeing as he was completely calm. "Thomas are you alright? Anxiety is coming up and i'm not even causing it." Virgil asked, interrupting Roman. "Ack! oh sorry... Just something on my mind.." Thomas replied, seemly, he had spaced out. "What is it?" Roman asked. "I-," Thomas started, "i want to see Deceit". Roman pulled out in sword in case the snake showed up, Virgil hissed at the name, Patton was shocked and Logan thought it would be nice for Deceit to have at least some company. "You-You sure kiddo?"asked Patton. "Yes.. It's just he barely leaves his room and i haven't seen him for like 5 months or something apart from SVS Redux!" Thomas said, clearly frustrated at Deceit's absence. "If he tries anything, I'll pin him down, like a hero to a villain! Patton summon him" Roman said confidently. "O-okay... Here it goes.." Patton told everyone, quite nervous.

Deceit small POV:

Deceit was in the bathroom, patching up cuts he inflicted on himself, with a long bandage that was immediately soaked in blood. It was lucky, sides didn't have veins and things like that, otherwise, he would probably be dead. Isn't that unlucky though? After all, Deceit keeps himself in existence out of spite, otherwise he would just jump right off the forge pit. It was when he was almost finished using a bandage that he felt himself being summoned.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. PLEASE NOT NO-

He was mid thought when he was summoned right in front of the light sides and Thomas, only managing to quickly cover a rather nasty cut with a bandage. He quickly pulled down his sleeve, however all the people there just started at him.

Can't breathe, too much people.

No one's POV:

All the sides (+Thomas) stared at Deceit. He just stood there, completely panicking, his social and extreme anxiety getting to him, he couldn't breathe but didn't let that get to him, he just had to hold on for now. Patton made a movement towards Deceit. Deceit ,however, moved back the same amount. "Deceit, ar-are you ok?" Patton asked. "Yes i'm fine, just a bit injured, that does not matter, i can handle it on my own, anyway, its mostly healed." Deceit said casually. Logan didn't buy it however remained silent, thinking about everything he could deduct from this. There was an awkward silence between the sides. Roman suddenly burst out, "See? nothing to worry about! Snake face (Deceit turned his head away at that, looking troubled by it) said he got it covered, which is surprising seeing as he's completely useless. He can leave as soon as Thomas asks something to Deceit, right? The useless liar doesn't need concern!" Logan was shocked by these words, Patton seemed taken aback too. Thomas stared at Roman, completely shocked at that behaviour. Roman just stood there, his sword in it's belt, proud of himself.

Deceit looked like he might cry, even if there were no tears in his eyes. He immediately started to sink out, not caring about what Thomas might ask. "Wait Deceit!" Thomas called out. Deceit was gone before he could even hear Thomas yell. Logan was furious at Roman, Patton look disheartened and Roman just stood there. However, Virgil had sensed very very high anxiety as soon as Deceit summoned in, it disappeared when Deceit left. Virgil was puzzled at this, he questioned why he felt that anxiety. Did Deceit have anxiety at that very point? But why, how?! Deceit didn't seem like the type of side to even have a tiny bit of anxiety. Virgil noted this to himself and decided he would pay attention the the anxiety of others more. Maybe it would help him figure out why Deceit had so much anxiety.
