Pinka ran down the moldy staircase, skipping the last two steps and planting her feet onto the concrete. I trailed behind her, running at a watchful speed so I wouldn't trip.

Once we arrived at the bottom of the stairwell, Pinka quickly grabbed my arm. Our sweaters squeezed together, making a tight lock in-between our bodies. She walked ahead, leading the way to the train station, and asking questions throughout our trail.

"You better start talking, (Y/N)! Quit leaving me out on all of the juicy details."

I whined loudly, and hunched my back slightly while dragging my words. "Can't I tell you at the mall?"

"No! especially when you're hanging out with such a beast."

Her words triggered a pause in my step, did she really just call Dabi a "beast"? Straightening my back, I allowed a roaring laugh free from my mouth. "May you repeat that?"

Pinka laughed with me, as she began to realize what she just said. "Just tell me already!"

Giving into her begs, I finally spoke. "Fine, fine."

"Well, his name is Dabi. That's basically all I know."

Pinka leaned over slightly, and turned her head to mine. She peered her eyes at me, digging and wanting more.

"I've never seen such beautiful, blue eyes. Others have faded colors, like grey, but Dabi's eyes are different."

"He's shorter than the type of guys you like, but honestly? I'm fine with that. I'm not bothered by his scars, nor his piercings. To be honest, I feel kind of safe with him."

My best friend stayed quiet, listening closely to my words, yet paying attention to the curves in the road. An accomplished grin grew over her face, filling my stomach with butterflies. Suddenly, Pinka cut into my words.

"I hate to break it to you, but you're obsessed.. and delusional."

"You're talking about this dude like you know him. I understand that you feel protected by him, or whatever, but he's obviously in some kind of lousy business."

I hadn't realized how much admiration I felt towards Dabi, nor did I realize how "delusional" I sounded. "Lousy business?"

"(Y/N), you mentioned scars! Scars don't just appear out of nowhere. He probably works with bad guys, have you even thought of that?"

To be honest, that thought has never crossed my mind. Dabi's scars do seem unnatural, but I don't want to judge what I don't know. Pinka was right, I barely know this guy. However, hearing her complaints towards Dabi pushed me to speak up.

"You don't know him either, Pinka. I haven't even mentioned the fact that he literally saved me earlier. Have you even spoken to him? I doubt you have, so quit it."

Pinka quickly shut her bickering, and sighed. "I'm sorry. Can we start over?"

I tugged Pinka close to me, and embraced her tightly as our shoes made prints in the snow. Wrapping her arms around me, she apologized once more in the form of a whisper into my ear. Of course, I accepted her apology.

"I'm sorry too, and yes, we can start over."

Another smile formed on Pinka's face, it was unbelievable how quickly her moods changed. "Yay! Perfect timing, by the way." she exclaimed, pointing to the subway station which had just entered our view.

The subway station was entirely different from the outside world, even though the two were technically connected. Businesses which ranged from small, to large all set up shops near the stations. A wide variety of food, clothes, and other basic necessities could be found at these side-shops.

Pinka handed me my subway card, and held hers tightly within her palm. We swiftly passed through the gate, giggling after coming out. I gave my card back to Pinka, since she was in charge of keeping them safe. Now, we just needed to find our train.          "It was fifteen, right?" I asked.

Panning her view around the station, Pinka then shrugged her shoulders. "Girl.. I don't even know."

"I just want to shop, pleasee!"

I reached for Pinka's hand, and held onto her tightly, leading the way. Following the signs, train fifteen was just up ahead. She effortlessly trailed behind me, even climbing in sync up the stairs. Eventually, we made it to the boarding.

Luckily for us, the train completed its loop right as we arrived. We stood patiently behind the yellow line, waiting for the metal doors to release themselves. Once they had opened, everyone began to storm inside. Pinka quickly grabbed a cushioned seat, while I tightly clinged onto one of the metal bars.

Our destination was about 4 stops ahead, giving me enough time to check Instagram once more. My finger scrolled, and scrolled, yet there was nothing new that caught my eye. Suddenly, Pinka tugged on my sleeve.

Pinka flashed me her screen for a mere seconds, but I could tell who she was drooling over. It was none other than Hawks, the number three hero. He's pretty attractive, I admit, but not for me. "Oh my gosh, he's so dreamy!" Pinka exclaimed.

"I mean, I guess-" I tried to speak.

Cutting me off, Pinka began to banter over the man she idolized so much. "You know, I heard his agency is making him work undercover! Apparently, he's trying to retain some nasty villains."

I kept my eyes glued to my screen. While Hawks is attractive, there are better looking men in the pro-hero world. "Have you seen Eraserhead though? He's genuinely beautiful, Pinka."

"Come on, he's like thirty! Though, I get what you mean." Pinka laughed. Making an abrupt stop, the train finally reached its next location. Pinka gathered her things, and removed herself from the padded seats. Walking in sync, we then hopped off the subway.

Finally, we had arrived at our destination.
