"Tiara come on it's time for bed." Taliyah spoke to her youngest sister.
"Just a few more minutes. The movie is about to end." Tiara responded, with her eyes still glued to the television.
"Tee you have to get up at six and you don't like to. If you miss school and miss that pizza party your teacher is throwing don't be mad." Tianna told her younger sister.
"But-" Tiara spoke but was cut off.
"Tee go to bed now!" Tolani spoke.
"I wish mommy and daddy didn't have to go away." Tiara mumbled as she stormed off to her room.
Taliyah scoffed and rolled her eyes at her sister's actions.
"I'm going to have to whoop her ass one of these days." She spoke.
"Don't do that to my baby." Tianna pouted.
"Whatever, y'all two need to be in bed within an hour. I have to go meet Carter somewhere and probably won't be back until later on tonight." Taliyah spoke to her younger sisters.
"What would dad say about you doing this?" Tolani spoke.
"Right daddy would be pissed." Tianna spoke.
"Tyrone ain't on shit." Taliyah shrugged.
"Don't call my father by his middle name." Tianna rolled her eyes.
"Right don't try my father like that. But, whatever. Be safe and call us if anything is going on." Tolani spoke.
"Alright love y'all." Taliyah spoke as she gathered her things.
"Love you too." Tolani and Tianna spoke in sync.
Taliyah gathered the things she needed and walked out of the house going to her car.
"Alright I have a test in second block and I know I'm going to be tired if I don't get any sleep." Tolani spoke.
Tianna nodded and they both walked up the stairs to the town house. They went into their rooms and got into bed.
Tolani closed her eyes thinking about the last few years of her life. With her parents both gone her older sister, Taliyah, had to take them in.
It was a rough start. The foster care system and their family wanted to split them all apart, but Taliyah made sure that she and her sisters were going to be able to stay together. She didn't want them growing up without seeing one another every day.

Waking up to her fifth alarm Tolani finally decided to get up. She went to the bathroom, using the toilet then brushing her teeth and washing her face. Once done she went to her closet picking out an outfit. Tolani chose to wear a black sweatshirt, black joggers, and her black Air Max 97s. She put on her bubble coat so she wouldn't be too cold while walking to the bus stop.
It was January and it was very cold outside. The temperature had been between twenty to thirty degrees for a few days. She was shocked it hadn't been snowing.
After getting dressed Tolani went downstairs, shaking her head at what she seen in the living room, ignoring it as she headed towards the kitchen. She walked over to the fridge to grab a bottle of water then turned to look at her sister who was currently cooking.
"Morning babes." Taliyah smiled as she flipped a pancake.
"Morning." Tolani greeted then took a sip of her water.
"How'd you sleep?"
"Good." Tolani shrugged.
"Aye why is Carter sleeping on the couch?" Tianna asked as she walked into the kitchen.
