(Okay, I may have overreacted.)

Y/N's POV

Zeldris and I had gone to the nearest flower field (also a few kilometers away from the village) to pick some flowers. It's been a week or so since Zeldris had shown me that cave, and I swear I haven't been able to go there again.

"Why couldn't we just go to the market?" Zeldris asked. I was observing a blue liliac's petals, making sure it had been fresh.

"Because, flowers straight from their roots are much better then flowers that have been picked out days before, in my opinion." I explained, plucking the lilac out of the ground gently. "Plus, it's nice to get out of the village nowadays." I smiled, turning to look at Zeldris.

He was behind me, taking interest in a red rose. He tried picking it but retreated his hand after touching it. "Watch out for the thorns." I warned teasingly. He rolled his eyes playfully.

I felt a powerful attack coming for Zeldris. "Watch out!" I yelled, pushing him out of the way. We rolled down the hill just in time to avoid the attack. A ray of white light hit the spot where Zeldris had been originally and the patch of grass had exploded. A cloud of dust formed and I stood up, making to sure to keep a hand on Zeldris.

I hadn't sensed this person's presence, whoever they are, so they must be bad news. When the dust cleared, a goddess whom had long, black hair floated a few feet above us, or rather Ludociel.

I stood up straight, keeping a cool composure. I felt Zeldris tense behind me. "Hand over the demon at once." Ludociel ordered. I tilted my head to the side, smiling. "I'm afraid I don't understand." I spoke.

Ludociel glared. "Give me that man behind you." he commanded. I looked at Zeldris before looking back. "Sorry, I can't do that, but I appreciate the effort." I smirked. "I do not want to harm you human; I don't need a bad reputation. Just give the demon to me and no one gets hurt." Ludociel threatened.

"F/N just--" I cut off Zeldris. "You needn't worry about gaining a bad reputation, you already have one. As for Zeldris, I will not hand him over." I spoke with a tight smile. "You leave me no other choice, Human. Do not say I did not warn you." Ludociel spoke, placing his hand on his sheathed sword.

Zeldris got in front of me protectively. Ludociel unsheathed his sword and the force caused heavy wind to blow against us. Zeldris lost his footing and flew back. "Zeldris!" I yelled, looking back. He looked fine, but he had flew too far back to assume. I looked up too see Ludociel point his sword toward Zeldris.

My eyes widened. I started running toward Zeldris. "Goddess Divine!" Ludociel yelled, and a ray of white light erupted from the tip of his sword, and was flying toward Zeldris. This one was larger than the last.

I got to Zeldris in time and pushed him out of the way, taking the brunt of the blow. Light surrounded my vision and I faintly heard Zeldris's scream.

I closed my eyes and folded my arms in annoyance, waiting for the attack to pass. I tapped my foot, getting impatient. Okay this really doesn't need to take that long. The attack finally subsided and Ludociel was surprised, to say the least.

"No human could possibly survive that attack!" Ludociel exclaimed. I smirked. "Now, now, who here stated that I was human in the first place?" I asked, surprising Zeldris. I'll have to give him an explanation later. "Now, continue if you must." I told him, going into battle position.

I let a sword appear in my hand. "Who exactly are you?" Ludociel asked. "You'll have to find out." I smirked. "Zeldris, stay back on this one." I warned him. Ludociel and I stood in silence, waiting for the first to strike.
