Chapter 2 - The Sonogram

:::Kayla's POV:::
When I get to the hospital I see Jason the Jerk standing there.
"Ready?" He asks.
"Ready." I say kinda surprised.
"Really you're not gonna say anything like call me a bitch or a jerk or a moron like u always do?" He asks.
"I don't want to ruin the moment I see my first baby." I say.
"I'm liking this nicer Kayla!" He says.
"Don't push it B- I mean kind friend." I say.
"That's more like it sweet cheeks." He says.
I clench my fists. "Anytime.....FRIEND." I say through my gritted teeth.
"Let's go. It's time to see my baby." He says pulling me along.
I lay down when I get into the room, and the doctor says he'll be right with me. A few minutes later he came in. He lifts up my shirt.
"I'm gonna put a jelly-like thing on your belly. It might be a little cold." The doctor says, while putting the gel on my belly.
It is kinda cold. I watch the screen.
"It's..... A girl!" The doctor said.
I look at the screen. She's beautiful. Well not really in my belly but I know she'll grow up to be beautiful. I feel a tear roll down my cheek.
"Are you crying? What's wrong you wanted a boy?" Jason asks.
"No. It's perfect. I'm just so happy." I say.
We leave a while later.
"I want to get back together with you." Jason says.
"No way Bitch! You are go the one who got me in this situation!" I say.
"I made a mistake. I want to be a good father to her." He says.
"All couples have to start out in the friend zone. Let's start there." I say.
"How about the beach. This Saturday? You can invite your other friends too." He says.
"Sounds good." I say with a smile. Wow, he's actually trying. He might not be such a bitch after all.
