They thought she was coal.
Easy to crumble.
Easy to burn.
Easy to discard.
But she was diamond.
Strong.
Hardy.
She could leave scars in the steeliest of hearts.
She was no heartbreaker but they made her out to be a nay-sayer.
Like she was afraid.
They saw her as she was when she was young.
Bright eyed and open hearted but so easily discarded by those who said they loved her.
They thought her pain made her weak.
They forget that struggle makes you strong.
She didn't take to long to realize it.
No, she became diamond.
The pressure from those around her bound her to her own fate.
She choose not to take vengeance.
No, she said God would bring their sentence.
She is diamond.
Watch her shine.
