Gehenna Guardian

1) Start of it all

Rin's POV

It has been 3 Months since the Gate had opened above True-Cross Academy and Yukio got possessed by Satan. Any victims of the event where put in the medical wing, all Exorcist's with some knowledge in the doctor-meister had helped with their treatments. I, however, wasn't brought there.

Instead I was, by the handy work of that bastard of a paladin, brought before the Grigory again, stating that this whole thing was my fault and that he wanted my immediate execution.

That of course made Mephisto appear in the courtroom in which I was on my knees yet again. 'They must really like seeing me like this huh.'

"Aren't you being a bit hasty there dear paladin~?" 🤡 began.
"After all, if it weren't for the Okumura's, I doubt the situation could have been resolved with only this number of casualties~."

Some of the witnesses who were of the Doctor-Meister groaned thinking that there could have been more than they had and are still dealing with. Some females and a few males silently - or unconsciously - thanked the Nephilim for having lessened their amount of work.

"But the damag-!" began triple Ass.

"Is the result of opening a Gehenna Gate near MY Academy! And I believe your forgetting.. " he held up a finger to prove his point making all quiet and me roll my eyes mentally at the attention-seeker.

"That was the doing of the Pope, who wanted to blast a nuclear bomb into it, using the blood of the accused Rin Okumura" he finished his... my.. defense? I don't think so, rather he wanted to screw with the Grigory for fun.

The Grigory could say nothing to it because those statements were on point and the truth. Arthur didn't like it one bit but seeing how his superiors had to give in to the demon's statement - which made him visibly displeased and even more frustrated than before - he huffed unmoving from his post.

He still pressed on though with saying how my flames became to dangerous and powerful after the incident. The Grigory had to agree with that and another debate occurred. All the while I was sitting like I pleaded for forgiveness in front of a king.
...Well~ technically there was one in the room and he wasn't really the common or friendly type either, neither was he human.

I snapped back to focus at the judgement. They (Arthur mostly) wanted me to at least get locked into that crystal thing again and sealed with my blade piercing my heart the entire time, 'At least my ass! Never-! Not in a million years do I want to get back into that thing!' I thought mentally appealed at such a suggestion. I'd rather fight Amaimon again or have a nightmare about THAT day! {A/N: That=Shiro's death}

The sentence however ended a bit milder because of the shameful things Mephisto had continued to throw into their faces.

"The Accused, Rin Okumura -Son of Satan- will continue to attend the Academy under strict observations from first-class Excorcist: Shura Kirigakure. If the Accused shows any kind of violent behavior warranting our attention he will be either immediately executed or put under the high-security cells and get watched by our Arc-knights" The Grigory announced into the Court.

~Few Days Later~

I only attended the extra-classes as I was officially taken out of the normal classes in case I needed to be quickly dealt with or restrained. 'HA... as if I'm that quick to anger... I'm no longer the dumb idiot I was back then'.

I wandered through the halls feeling their glares on my being. I walked around with my eyes on the floor and my hands in my pockets. I jumped over any kind of 'marble' on the floor having learned the hard way that even those could pop and release a  concentration of Holy Water that would burn my eyes like a hundred pin-pricks making me blind for a short while (about 7~9 min.).
