I froze, and shook my head. I didn't need another problem on my shoulders. I kind of let the Miss Violent pass, and just glared at him for it.
"Whatever. Let's just sleep." He went back to his bed and closed his eyes. Wait, I'm still in my outdoor clothes! I'm all sweaty and I smell of smog! I wouldn't sleep with this stench sticking onto my body! No way!
I stomped around. Making it purposely loud so that he would get irritated and get up. "Ugh! I need to take a shower and change!"
But he didn't seem to care.
I ran a hand through my hair in irritation. My plan backfired. Great. "Can you at least cover yourself with your blanket so that I can be sure that you won't peep?" I said, embarrassed. Mostly because I had realized that this was my first time sleeping in the same room with a boy.
"I am not the perverted type!" He said, but he covered himself with the blanket anyway.
I went to the bathroom to take a shower, with my change of clothes, of course. I closed the curtain--yes, the place didn't have a door except the one I entered before, which was the reason I asked the guy to cover himself with a blanket.
I changed after and threw my clothes under my bed. Well, sorry for being sloppy! I had no one in my family who could teach me about cleanliness. Not even my mom. She was sloppier than Julius and my father combined.
I yawned at slumped on my bed. Man, this night was too much. A lot happened, and I couldn't help but wonder, is this real? Things seemed like a dream, a wonderful kind of dream, except the trampoline moment and my roommate. They were the pieces of nightmare I would willingly forget.
After recalling the things that had happened today, I drifted off to sleep.
*--*--*
I opened my eyes and saw a guy in front of me. Actually, he was on a different bed, but he was also facing my way. He was asleep. He kind of looked like Julius... But at some point, different. Something's not quite right... The hairstyle, maybe? Julius had a pretty long hair that reached his ears, but this guy looked like he just had a haircut. I don't know. I kept staring at his face, wondering how it was so different from Julius'.
"It's rude staring at someone sleeping, you know," he suddenly said. I rolled my eyes. I found what I was searching for.
Julius never annoyed me this much.
I pretended not to hear what he said and tried to stand up. Yeah, tried. I was able to sit up, but I couldn't stand up. Something cold and hard was tugging on my right hand. When I turned to look at it, I saw a handcuff around my hand and there was a stiff looking string that connected to something else. When I followed it with my stare, I saw that the other handcuff, my roommate's handcuff, was where the string connected.
"Wha... What the hell is this?!" I yelled, which woke my roommate up. He looked around, panicking. "What? What happened?"
I stared at him incredulously and shoved my wrist on his face. "This! This is what happened!"
When he saw it, he just yawned. He yawned. He YAWNED?! Didn't he even know who did this to us? Or maybe he was the one who did this?
"Don't worry, this isn't a prank. Nor was it my doing," he stretched his arms. "The school teachers themselves did this."
I looker at him in disbelief. The school teachers what? "Why would they tie us up like this? Are they insane?"
"Uh, not quite, nope," he cocked his head to one side. "Didn't you read the requirements?"
