Chapter III

Ellaneen P.O.V

We were waiting outside the barn touching the baby goats while the farm staff was getting food ready in the kitchen canteen for lunch. If I don't get food in me soon I'll be in a really bad mood.

"I'm starving," Liane says playing with my hair

"Don't you find it hilarious how almost every girl is swooning over the two farm boys?" Samuel says snickering

"What, they are cute, Liane would probably be doing the same?" I say smiling

"Wa-what? No, I wouldn't!" Liane yells

Layla hits my shoulder giving me a glare to stop. I walk up to Beomgyu who was petting one of the goats

"Never thought you liked goats?" I say

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you are so scared of dogs, I would have thought-"

"I am not scared of dogs"

I start laughing "But last time remember my poor old dog just wanted cuddles but you freaked out because she was barking and hid behind me!"

"One time, now I love little chanchan" he says laughing loudly, I do the same

I look back at Liane who was staring at us with a gloomy face, but I turn back to Beomgyu with a smile on my face

"And remember-!"

"Stop" Beomgyu says coldly

I give a blank stare

"I know what you're doing, just stop"

"What am I doing Beomgyu?"

He rolls his eyes and looks away. He turns around and leans his back on the small fence looking ahead.

"You don't get anything from it" he blankly stares back at me

"I do. Satisfaction"

"When will you get over it? It's been a year already. It didn't even happen to you"

"Shut up, you didn't have to deal with her crying at night, it was so fucking annoying"

Beomgyu scoffs

"Your right, I didn't have to deal with Layla...I have to deal with you" he said the last part softly

I ignore his comment and go back to petting the goats

"Let's go, the canteen is open" Beomgyu says grabbing my hand and following the rest of the students

We get our food and find a table to sit.

"Look at these tacos, they aren't even tacos" Abel says loudly not talking to anyone in particular

"They look like they were made by you" I say, laughing at my own comment

"No, not even I don't use flour tortillas I use corn ones, that's already a big difference"

As the group goes on talking, I grab a carrot and bite on it looking up as I feel someone staring at me. Sure enough, there it was. The country boy from earlier. I smile taking another bite off my carrot and keep staring at him

"Give me a carrot" Beomgyu says already grabbing one

"Sure," I say, keeping my eyes on the dude. He was pretty tall with dark brown hair all ruffled up, but it looked pretty stylish on him

"Who do you have your eyes on now?" Liane asks

"No one in particular" I say

"What do you mean?! Elle always has her eyes on someone" Abel says

"Whatever. I'm trading my chips for your taco" Beomgyu says already grabbing my taco and handing me his chips

"Just take my whole fucking lunch then!"

"Really?!"

I internally growl at Beomgyu's sarcasm and open the bag of chips and munch on them

"Guys" I say lowly

"Wait, don't say it. Let me guess. You're tired!" Samuel says smiling

"Jusus fucking christ, you solved the biggest mystery on the planet" Beomgyu says and Samuel gives him a death glare

"Yeah, I'm tired. When are we going to bed?"

"It's barely three" Layla says

"Exactly, it's her nap time" Beomgyu says smiling

"The sleeping quarters don't open till six" Liane says

"We can go ask the teacher to see if you can go take a nap" Beomgyu says to me already taking me to go find the teacher

We get to the teacher and he is busy in the main office of the place, still filling out papers

"Sir, take a break, you've been at it all day" I tell him

"I know right. What's up guys?" he asks smiling

"Sir, Elle is not feeling well, can she go rest in the sleeping quarters?" Beomgyu asks

"Guys, you can't go in there without supervision"

"Come on sir, we're the top students in the school, you can trust us, right?"

"I do trust you, but technically speaking you aren't the student's with the highest grades, there's one on top of you both. You're #3 and you're #2"

"Sir, let's be honest here. Ellaneen really needs her nap, you know her right? I can't live if she doesn't have her nap, please sir I beg you"

The teacher turns to me and I give him my most innocent look ever

"Only you two, don't let no one else know" he hands us the key and Beomgyu thanks him

"Why didn't you let me speak?" I ask him as we walk

"I don't want problems right now"

We keep walking in silence to the sleeping quarters

"Yo, city girl" I turn to see the same cow dude from earlier

"Wanna come see a new born baby goat?" He asks

I groan loudly, but he was too far to hear

"You're right, you do the talking" I say walking ahead

"Sorry, we are a little busy right now" Beomgyu says running to catch up to me

He throws his hands over my shoulders, I could see him trying to keep a smile from forming. We get to the sleeping quarters and I lay on bed ready to sleep for eternity. Beomgyu sits on the bed next to me and scrolls through his phone.

I lay on my side facing Beomgyu and just stare at him as he scrolls through his phone

"You're pretty handsome, you know?" I say

"Go to sleep" he says ignoring me and keeping his eyes on his phone

I smirk, turn around and fall asleep

I feel a pair of hands on my shoulders shaking them

"What" I barely get out

"They're having a bonfire outside. Wanna go?" Beomgyu asks

"No, you go if you want to" I roll to the other side and fall back asleep
