The Moby Dick can fly?!

Start from the beginning

Percy looks over at a ship he sees approaching the Moby Dick at a leisurely pace.

Percy: That ship has been approaching at such a slow pace, but they'll reach here in a couple minutes. Maybe their enemy pirates.

Percy, Zorak and Xian were long aware of the ship approaching for the past couple hours, they just didn't care. It would seem the pirates also knew, since they're calmly gathering on the deck. Percy senses the Sea Kings nearing, but at the same time he senses a fast figure running over.

Percy: It's like the sky is steps, that's pretty cool.

Zorak: I can do it to!

Zorak immediately moves to stand, but Xian stops him.

Xian: Percy's aware showoff, he's just commenting on the fact that a human can manage it.

Zorak snorts, opening his eyes slightly to look at the approaching man. "What prank did Percy want to do?" He asks, recalling Percy mentioning playing tricks. Xian blanks out, both having been to focused on the approaching ship and wondering if it poses a threat to consider Percy's prank. Xian and Zorak both pale at the same time, jumping to their feet. "He wouldn't...he would."

At that moment the ship lurched, flying out of the sea due to the force. Percy kept himself standing still atop the Crow's Nest seeming unbothered by the sudden change from sea to sky. "Oops, forgot to tell them to hold back some strength."

A sudden pain burns his insides, and he lets out a gasp, face going pale as the power he's using to stay in place vanishes. His body rises as he goes flying out of the Crow's Nest.

Shanks looks at the flying monstrosity called the Moby Dick. "Old man this isn't funny!" He yells, getting hit full on by the Moby Dick and tossed underwater. Cries of "Captain" come from his ship as he is blasted underwater. Sinking a couple meters, he almost gets crushed by the Moby Dick landing back in the water. Sea Kings swim around in clumps, at least twenty in the area.

Shanks wonders what he did to deserve this. As far as he's concerned, he's an innocent man...mostly. The Sea Kings ignore him, all of them swimming for a sinking piece of wreckage. Shanks moves to swim up while they're distracted, when he realizes the wreckage is actually a child. Shanks inwardly curses, and swims for the child.

His pace can't beat Sea Kings but letting out his conqueror's haki he forces the Sea Kings back. The Sea Kings look at him with burning anger as his hands scoop up the lifeless child. They all swim at him, and their prior reaction to run when feeling his conquers haki seems to be forgotten this time.

Shanks knows he can't outrun the Sea Kings and can only fight them. Preparing himself, he's surprised when they come to a stop. Their eyes that once showed a burning rage changed to dislike. They give him gazes of unhappiness before swimming off. Shanks doesn't wait for them to come back, swimming up he's greeted by Thatch swimming down to him. Thatch helps grab the little child, and together they swim up the rest of the way.

Breaking the surface of the sea Shanks glares at Thatch. "A flying Moby Dick, who's idea, how could you leave me out of it?!"

"Did you get a concussion from hitting the hull of the Moby Dick, why would we do something like that when there's new kids we're trying to get to like us. Drat, there probably going to burn the ship down." Thatch complained as they swam to the Moby Dick, dragging the limp kid along with them.

"This is one of the new kids, I want to meet them!" Shanks says, before adding, "Oh, and the underside of the ship isn't damaged at all."

"Seriously? Well one good thing." Thatch says, grabbing the ladder thrown down by a crewmember. The sound of fighting comes from on the deck and Thatch groans when a phoenix of black flames clashes with a blue phoenix in the sky. "Oh no, Shadow is angry, we got to hurry up and make sure Waves is okay or we're in a bad spot."

Shanks doesn't really get what's going on, but he has already marked the black phoenix as someone to recruit for his ship. Bluebird wouldn't join him, so he'll get the blackbird. "Could you let go." A quiet voice sounds out. Shanks looks down, finding the limp child's eyes are open and looking at him. Shanks breath is taken away as he looks into beautiful sea green eyes.

"Let go." Percy repeats gazing at the red-haired man with his empty eyes. The red-haired man doesn't respond, still just holding his arm. Percy sighs, and kicks the man in the foot. Red hair doesn't even seem to feel it, still looking at Percy with a kind of wonder. Percy frowns, he was holding back, he just wanted to wake the man up, but since it didn't work, he has to take extreme measures.

Right before Percy moves, a black blur streaks towards him. The black flames land on red head's hand holding Percy and red head releases Percy. Percy grabs the ladder rung and passes red head with ease and is the first one back up on the deck. "What did I miss?" He asks, looking at the deck completely covered in ice, multiple statues now decorating the place. "Who redecorated? They did a good job."

So there we go, Shanks has entered the scene, the Moby Dick is redecorated and Percy lives. Oh, and pairing ideas can now be submitted, who do you want to love whom?
